I guess the truth is Doppio is seeing it in his mind is really whats happening, but Araki in the manga thought "I could just show it in a panel and distort the image abit , But Na thats too dry and everybody does that in comics. One of my favorite animations of Jojo is when Doppio slams the ground with King Crimson's arms ( 2:30 ). It's a really great show of his frustration at how powerless he feels in that moment, and the animation looks so fucking cool.
I feel like since so many of the gorey shots have to be just still images for a few seconds, it might have allowed them to make some amazing animation with Doppio and Risotto's actual movements.
Doppio has plot armor. A deoxigenated persons lose consciuness in less than a minute. He talks for like, 20 seconds after the deoxigenation. He also lost a lot of blood, so he would faint in less than 10 seconds. But he fucking survives

And then teleports away from the scene of the crime without anyone on the team noticing or making a fuss. All while he was supposedly dying and barely able to move with his deoxygenated blood. People talk about how [KING CRINSOM] is a powerful stand, but its nothing compared to his [PLOT ARMOR].

There's also a bit of animation trickery going on; motion blur lines (what are they called again??) and parts where the arms are actually split. You get really fast, erratic movements but you can still process it!

Metallica is such a fucking cool stand. It went toe to toe with king crimson and damn-near won. I genuinely want to see an alternate universe where Risotto became the main antagonist after killing the boss.
Wish they kept Risotto longer, but thats just the beauty of JoJo. Villains don't have 20 episode long backstorys. Risotto hits hard, and vanishes just as fast again.
They kept him as long as they can do. Risotto did not have this much screentime in the manga at all. The anime added new original scenes for him and his team. And it’s still not over yet, his backstory could be animated in the next episode alongside his final desperate attack before his death.
Funny thing is, in that flashback scene, they assume that because Pericolo's not a Stand User, that he wouldn't be the one to be protecting a Stand User's daughter. Say what you will about Diavolo, but he really is quite cunning.
I like Doppio, even in the manga. The way he's entirely different from Diavolo, is that he completely like a child: getting angry when hurt, frustrated when he's losing, even getting scared even before the fight at hand. Diavolo would've been mature, cocky, and even boastful because he would win before the fight even started. Shame to see Doppio die out the way he did. But glad to have see the anime.
