It kinda makes it more amusing the fact neither of them have any clue about how to upgrade cars, got plenty of mods to do fast builds, but no idea how any of them work, so you end up with silly builds. :P
I mean, the V12 Comodo picked, has the option for twincharging, with a plethora of different kind of turbos, including quad turbo, and even 3 kinds of superchargers.

When you remove the doors and any other parts, there isn't as much support to the body so the vehicle isn't as stable.

Meh, not that much really, the frame of the car is the important part. Body panels are useful in crashes but they don't give as much rigidity as you seem to believe. The loss in weight compensate for the lack of rigidity

Add turbos (plural), lock rear differential, Off road tires for height (increases top speed and a little traction), Transmission if you have points, suspension and roll cage last. Winning combo
