    Another great video guys. Really interesting detail and the odd light made it more eerie!. Never thought how air would get down the tunnels until seeing the pipework. So fascinating. Music was great too. Thanks again i really enjoyed watching :)

    Great explore
    Looking at your footage there was no period features left from the war and the lighting was modern so I’m guessing the tunnels where intended to be used again for something

    One of your eeriest ones. Must have felt a bit scary getting lost and there was something very very strange about that pink chair as well as the lighting. Does occur to me it might be quite warm down there in the winter and could have some use with the crazy population even today

    There are many miles of tunnels under London. I read a book about London & apparently just one of the shelters alone is over two miles long. It includes dormitories for 8,000 people, medical areas, storage, canteens, shower-rooms, offices, police posts, & even a theatre!
    Thankyou for sharing this, but think how dreadful it must have been, crowded in those claustrophobic tunnels not knowing if your home would be there when you came out, or if your friends, neighbours & any family members not with you were alive or not? Not knowing if your familiar area would be there at all when you emerged? While hearing loud crashes & feeling the ground shake & people wetting themselves with terror. Apparently the shelters often smelt of sweat & urine, if not worse.

    The lights by the way have always been on ,and it was used as an underground growing space thus the sheeting,it's all on the net if you have a look,the video itself i dont have a problem with it is however the typical youtube "donate" rubbish

      Thanks for telling me pal, we were confused as I’d been told they had all gone off as of a few months previously. Fair enough man, I have a lot of respect for you guys and how long you’ve been involved with the hobby, so maybe a few years down the line I’ll see it the same way you do.

      It’s more so if people like my content they can choose to donate to see better places further a field. I’m not begging, I just have the option there. On my wages and my friend’s, we would struggle to leave the UK, as we don’t drive and get public transport everywhere. We have just paid for a few day trip outside of England, by taking out a loan.

      @@Urbandoned Thats where i just dont understand the mindset,the people i share my explores with are explorers ,i share on actual webforums for like minded people and we all travel and we all fund ourselves,You shouldnt be posting up explores in the hope people will view it and want to fund you to go explore,its a personal thing and this hobby sadly has had more exposure in recent years because of TH-cam that it has got to the point it's all a bit of a joke,soime of us have been exploring ten years+ and it started out as quite a well kept secret,well the forums have a small audience where as youtube brings it to the masses..just cant stand seeing a once noble and quirky hobby turned into mainstream viewing

    • @Urbandoned
      @Urbandoned  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My bad that’s not what I meant. I make the videos just for me and my friend to look back on in later life, and because I’m passionate about filmmaking and hope to do something similar in the future. As I say, it’s just an option for people, that I only put on in the first place because someone said they wanted to help us out. I agree though about youtube I’m sure it was much easier back in the day and I wish I was knowledgeable about it to be involved. I hardly watch urbex youtube because it bores me to death.
