Aetherfalls weapons have different ultimates concepts. Some weapons ultimates put you into a "mode" where the ultimate bar is drained and you get new m1s and a new moveset, typical ultimate stuff in BG, thats why its called a mode weapon. Ultimate weapons are ultimates where you press the button and it drains your ultimate bar completely doing one usually giant oneshotting (most of the time) move. Hope that helps
hey! your local aetherfall battlegrounds sweat here: the difference between ultimate and mode weapons on aetherfall is that the ultimate weapons are single moves that do big damage (usually a 1 shot) and the mode weapons are ultimate modes like every other bg game

im ngl i played aetherfall but the issue is the balance i tried playing against a soul lantern user once and he had the largest aoe with delwayed hitboxes made it unfun tbh

The only thing i HATE about aether battleground is that combos are hard to pull off, your healthbar gets melted with some characters, and with the new map there are more teamers than ever (like seriously it's all bacons who's account was created in 2024 tryna third party)
Also, about mode and ultimate : i think ultimate give you 1 move when you press G, and mode give you a normal ultimate with 4 moves
Ngl the thing I don’t like about it is the over-designed models. It’s definitely personal preference, but I really liked the more basic, toned down models in the old version.
I don't like it cus I tried to play and this game is NOT balanced at all cus i got inf combod by some fire deku punches on a budget
WHAT AETHERFALL BATTLEGROUND MODE AND ULTIMATE WEAPONS ARE:
mode weapon: a weapon which when using ult, gives you a mode (like you have a limited amount of time but in that time you have a bunch of powerful moves)
ultimate weapon: a weapon which when using ult, it does only 1 HUGE HUGE HUGE attack (like saitama in tsb but theres only 1 move)
I think you forget to say that Killua ult moveset don't even work.
