Oh how I loved Paul McCartney!! I can still remember the first time I heard a Beatles song on the radio. I was completely smitten! My older sister bought me ‘Sixteen’ magazine and I devoured every page about the Beatles. I had a Beatles scrapbook with every newspaper article I could find about them. All I could think about was John, Paul, George, and Ringo. Its a wonder I learned anything in school, because they were on my brain at all times. Remember watching American Bandstand?? It was a great time to be a preteen/teen!
OH my goodness!!! I could have written every single word here! 16 Magazine!!! Scapebooks...DATEBOOK....cards taped to my wall!!! They were all I thought of! The songs...the fantasy of living a brand new exciting life being George's wife! LOL!!! The Beatles allowed me to survive my childhood!! My favorite Beattles’s song is My Michelle. My granddaughter’s name is Michelle. When Michelle was born, the doctor who delivered her sang My Michelle to her.The doctor sang the entire song to Michelle.
I don't kno if you remember but a couple of posts ago I told u how I felt I had "lost myself " and was feeling so terrible about my appearance ...Well guess what I got inspired by your video and put on new makeup and a pretty new wig and in one week I had two people tell me how pretty I was inside and out and they said that I lit up the room when I came in! I spent a few weeks in England in my early 30’s… and stayed with a beautiful elderly couple in Liverpool, Susan. They had family pictures hanging all over their living room, and one of their son’s looked exactly like Paul McCartney. I commented about it and that said, “That IS Paul! He is our son’s best friend. He’s like our second son!” They were two of the dearest, most loving and humble souls I’ve ever met in all of my travels… and I love knowing that he was loved by them while growing up in Liverpool. Just thought you’d like to know. I look forward to seeing you every week… you and I actually have much in common, we are even the same age! ((HUGS))

Loved tonight's show. My husband and I grew up with The Beetles and their music. The 60's Beetles' songs were so special to us. I took a walk down memory lane when you mentioned their Rubber Soul album. I can remember sitting in my room at night with soft mood lighting thinking I was so cool as I listened to all the songs on that album again and again.. I also loved seeing Hal again. So very thankful his surgery went well and he is keeping active by walking each day. Praying for Hal to regain all his strength and feel like a new guy!! Blessings Susan and little Desi💜

My father’s dental office happened to be in a building that housed a music store on the street level. Sometimes I went after school to my dad’s office and would do my homework. On our way home we were walking past the music store where the Beatles first album was promptly displayed. I remember saying “Dad look the Beetles”. Dad then took me inside and bought me the album and I was thrilled, a cherished item,I played over and over. Also who can forget their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. Our whole family of 7 was gathered around the television set with excitement and anticipation. Had a crush on Paul!

London in the 60’s was fantastic! So colourful, tempting and alive! Actors, racing drivers, singers, writers were within reach. I loved it and made it my niche to travel there as much as possible. I was a ground hostess for TAP and free travel was there! I miss those times so much. My past has become my point of reference to draw my memories. Thank you.

My favorite Beatles song is "Hey Jude". It's the reasons for writing the song that's heart touching, to me. It was written for Julian Lennon, John's son. John Lennon walked away from his wife and young son without a thought. Paul was showing Julian his support and telling him life will get better.

It's 60 years exactly since the Beatles visited Australia. They were overwhelmed, a third of the population of Adelaide turned up to see them.

My father’s dental office happened to be in a building that housed a music store on the street level. Sometimes I went after school to my dad’s office and would do my homework. On our way home we were walking past the music store where the Beatles first album was promptly displayed. I remember saying “Dad look the Beetles”. Dad then took me inside and bought me the album and I was thrilled, a cherished item,I played over and
over.
Also who can forget their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. Our whole family of 7 was gathered around the television set with excitement and anticipation. Had a crush on Paul!

I was so blessed to get to see Sir Paul in concert two years ago! I love thinking about how cool it was to see this man in person! Such a talent and so full of energy! Susan, I loved you in that Jane Asher look! So pretty. I'm 67 now and yet I did not know much about the Beatles at the time they were big. I don't know how I missed it all. But later I was very much into music (still am) and I remember loving the song "My Love" very much. I'm a romantic. The song My Life is classic as is "Imagine" I think. London in the 60’s was fantastic! So colourful, tempting and alive! Actors, racing drivers, singers, writers were within reach. I loved it and made it my niche to travel there as much as possible. I was a ground hostess for TAP and free travel was there! I miss those times so much. My past has become my point of reference to draw my memories. Thank you.

My favorite Beatles song is "Hey Jude". It's the reasons for writing the song that's heart touching, to me. It was written for Julian Lennon, John's son.
John Lennon walked away from his wife and young son without a thought. Paul was showing Julian his support and telling him life will get better.
