I stopped this video for a moment to find „We will rise“ in Apple Music and I was successful in finding lots of songs by your band. 👍🏻👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻👍🏻 Well I’m going to listen to the other songs in the evening in bed. Super sound, super music. Like this music, although I wouldn’t be able to make it myself! 😎😎 Of course while watching the video I decided to purchase this Audio Interface, although I won‘t need ADAT at least from the momentary view.
Thank you for the video, how did you manage to use 2 preamps simultaneously? Eg route channel 1 to preamp 1 and channel 2 (or 3 or 4) to preamp 2? I'm totally struggling with the most basic things here 😮
Hello. Great vid. I’ve a zen q and I’m just in the process of filling a 500 chassis with the Dione compressor and Prometheus eq. Both from Wes audio. I presume I can still master outside of the box using the 2 outs from the antelope and the Adat connector with additional hardware?
THANKS FOR YOUR ZEN Q USB, I PURCHASE IT LAST WEEK AND LOVE THE CLARITY OF THE SIGNAL; I ALSO PURCHASE 2 EDGE NOTE PENCIL MICS FOR RECORDING DIFFERENT SOUCES. IHAVE THE SAME FOCUSRITE SAFFIRE 56 LIQUID (ADAT) AND A TASCAM DA-30 DAT RECORDER (S/PDIF). QUESTION: CAND I USE THE FOCUSRITE AS A STAND-ALONE MIC PRES AND ADAT OUT FOR 8 MORE CHANNELS OR DO I HAVE TO USE SAFFIRE MIX CONTROL TO DO THAT? THANK YOU!
Una pregunta?? Tengo problemas de volumen al conectar un procesador de micrófonos externo(dbx676) en la entrada de micrófono, es que acaso la Zen Q no necesita procesadores externos ???
Great video as usual,i have a discreet 4 synergy core by antelope, you mentioned in the beginning of the video that the line out can be used to connect secondary monitors, can you please guide on how to do that..i have been trying to do that for a while now
So I believe the line outputs on the Zen Q automatically go to outputs 3-4. So you'd have to switch the outputs of your tracks to output 3-4 in your DAW. It's kind of a pain to have to do that, but it's a cheap way to integrate a 2nd set of speakers without buying a monitor controller.
@@MusicTechHelpGuy tried this..it's working 😀thanks a ton👍

Please, is it possible to use the ADAT extension with the Zen Q as the master clock source? since when trying to connect my Focusrite 18i20 it works only when the focusrite is configured as the master (internal) and in the Zen Q ADATx1
The Zen Q only has an ADAT Input, not an output. So I would assume that the only way it operates is with the Zen Q as the master clock inputting channels from another interface/preamp.
Hello, thanks for the review! Can you please tell me if the headphone outputs have enough power? In one of the reviews, they drew attention to the fact that low-impedance headphones sound worse than high-impedance ones! Have you personally checked...? Thanks !!!
That would be to do with the impedance of the headphone out I would guess. I don't know why all headphone outputs are not less than 1OHM these days. It's usually the frequency response that is altered, rather than level.
Hi! Im having a massive problem with logic, whatever midi controller i use there are always 2 notes that dont work and sometimes if i press one of them at the same time as another note it repeats the note infinitely! This is incredibly frustrating as a composer! Can anyone help me out with this?!?

Did you connect the 500 chasis to Zen Q and everything works as expected?

Do either the inputs on the front or back bypass the preamps when switched to Line Level? Thanks

Outboard mixing with the S/PDIF is ok?

HAS UNA CADENA DE VOZ PRINCIPAL PORFAVOR CON LA ZENGO Y LOS PLUGINS GRATUITOS. POR QUE SOLO TENGO LOS GRATUITOS
Yeah pretty good strumming IMPRESSIVE
That Mitch Gallagher energy.
Can you connect usb mic to it?
If u have a usb mic why the hell would you go get an interface…common sense😂
@@listed8701 maybe you didn't get what I meant.. My DAW software PT when I connect usb mic to PC usbs output, it doesn't recognize the device 😕
@@UltradragonProduction yea but there’s no way to connect a Bluetooth mic to an interface unless there’s some kind of adapter
@@listed8701 did I say Bluetooth 😅? . It's USB wired not Bluetooth 😄
@@UltradragonProduction you’re not listening.
Yes, but also no UAD plugins so I’ma have to stick with my twin even though I want antelope pre’s ):
The only bad thing about Antelope, is they have very bad customer service!!!
Really? I've had GREAT customer service with them actually.
@@JorgeSalasGuitar , that’s good to know that someone did!!! 👍🏼
Yeah, both times I’ve called they resolve my issue in less than 5 mins
Can I plug and use two guitars and two microphones at the same time?
