As always when i see something like this i feel very sad that such a great company that made such good tractors wasn't able to hang on and rise to even greater heights
I was working in mahers when it was sold, I only did a few small jobs on her, she's a real solid work horse, I don't know much on the history, I think she came from Antrim or Armagh, not sure, some county up the north
you were probaly in mahers then,the day we went and looked and drove it.its working away dung spreading at the moment.late in season when we bought it,but we done all of the straw square bailing with it,and mowing towards the end of season.couple of 11 tons loads of corn i delivered with it also,which it pulled well.hydra shift is perfect,useing a drop of oil engine wise,but no complaints so far. your bamford is a credit to you,lovely baler.welgers we have ,ap 63,and 530,the latter replaced a 445 ih.530 is fair fast,but pickup is 6 inches narrow than the 63.i do like your bamford.their was a few yellow bamfords working our country back in the eighties,but sadly their all gone now.
