A tip to anyone struggling to get the clip undone for the electrical connector, I removed the one that he shows how to do in the video first and then took the bolt out. THANK YOU! I was able to fix my Cadi's stalling issue as a direct result of this video. It cost me about $25 for the part and a few scratches on my knuckles to replace it. One garage quoted me $250. Thanks again.
Replaced mine about 2 yrs ago. Fun fact: the cause of this part going bad is due to topping off your gas. I was shocked to discover that is the culprit for newer model vehicles. When pumping gas to a full tank, once that pump clicks off, do not add more gas. If you don't drive an analog vehicle, do not top off your gas. Go inside and get the rest of your money.

FOR PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH A CADILLAC SRX 2012 - LUXURY EDIT - THE MAIN FUEL PUMP AND THE ONE THAT WENT OUT ON MY SRX IT IS PLACED ON THE FRONT, WITHIN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. RIGHT HAND SIDE (WHEN YOU ARE FACING THE ENGINE AND THE BATTERY IS AT YOUR HAND SIDE). THE PART IS $400.00 AT OREALLY'S, OR AUTOZONE.
Excellent job explaining step by step.. however we removed the wrong sensir.. lol.. we put it back but we need to replace (EVAP) EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS CANISTER VENT SOLENOID
I do not know anything about cars and I am going to watch this video and hope it helps me replace this with no problems…seems pretty easy but we will see lol

If I have the code P0449 (valve control circuit) and secondary DTC P0455 (large leak detected) , is it the same thing? Do I need to replace the same part or could it be something else?
