This song is FIRE, one of the best Spanish entries ever. Before even a word is sung, it's absolutely brilliant, with a vibe and power that should've blown the competition away, even in this very strong year. Spain should've won in 1990.

@@Paperinjerate It started with technical problems (you can't see it in this video). They were the first act in the competition, and when they went on stage, the sound was off. It was soon corrected and, as far as I remember, there were no more technical problems for the rest of the evening.
If it hadn't been for this glitch, they would definitely have won
Perhaps the jury must have blamed those technical difficulties for Spain's failure.

@@DaniulRuizI hope, Benidorm Fest will bring us there someday, maybe not this year, but maybe in this decade. BTW they participated in Benidorm Fest 2 years ago, but I think, they failed to qualify for the final. Plus Teixeiras (or similar, sorry, if I butchered their name) also brought something similar to the table. Not so much in the newest edition, I guess.

However if you see how fierce and fiery they look, there is a huge non verbal message of empowerment, despite the fact that the song is not an empowerment song.

I am not a big fan of Spanish songs but when I was 13, about 5 years ago, I had discovered this song and I was so in love with this song that I had bought the CD of this album. Posiblemente el incidente con el problema técnico que tuvieron al principio que aquí en el video no se ve y que además fuesen las primeras en salir. No suele ser muy ventajoso salir en primera posición. Aunque como anécdota Suecia llegó a ganar saliendo los primeros unos 7 años antes de este festival.

@@miladinrakovic90 Znam sve. Gledao sam tu Evroviziju na tv-u. Fantastična pesma i nastup. Na kraju je pobedio Toto Kotunjo jer je u svojoj pesmi govorio o ujedinjenju Evrope pa je zato dobio najviše glasova jer je to tada bilo aktuelno kao preteča nastajanja Evropske unije.
