That was a very sad day indeed. This was the site of my first open water SCUBA dive, and I still dive there to this day. It was a very rare event, first of its kind in Maine. Hopefully it was also the last.
Absolutely! I love to visit their world, and give them much respect. If I am ever attacked by a shark, it is definitely my own fault. I still plan to swim with them when we I can.

The place especially the dark waters really has a eerily feel to it knowing that a 63 YO was brutally mauled by a Great White shark near the shores.
