Most Javanese still does some kind of worship on their Keris which usually passed down from their ancestor; my cousin is one of them. He told me that the curves (they call it LUK) is actually what scares the Dutch colonial so much that they banned the making of Keris in the past. most of the Dutch colonial officers who died in Javanese - Dutch wars (1825-1830) were killed by Keris. as the dagger is curved so when it's used to stab someone, it created a bigger wound as the Keris owner pulled the Keris out. from the outside, it would seem like a small injury but the person is bleeding internally, and they will die faster if the owner of the Keris put poison on each of the curve.

After Jamasan (Cleaning ritual) has been performed for years on end, any dagger including the Keris would begin to slowly lose material. New Keris or those well kept and oiled rather than cleaned in the traditional method should be heavier and much more durable than the blades you possess, because I’ve failed to have found scholarly or historical material that implies the Keris is meant to break off within an enemy’s body. It’s wavy/jagged blade implies that the severity and damage comes from multiple stabbing motions rather than a singular stab and break, and though it is coated in poison, historically enemies died from bleeding out faster than the poison can act (Methods of execution with the Keris during the era of Majapahit found executioners being efficient with this.)
@@salex354 even very old kris blades show very little use, you should know this; they werent used except in battle and that was to stab. Ive never seen one with a worn down blade, handles are different story, many are cracked and often were replaced many times on same blade.
Not to be nitpicky. But its throughout the Malay archipilego. We are one Nusantara.
a kriss blade with all its complete component must had started by a civilization then spreaded out..couldnt be different civilization different place made the same thing including ITS DETAILS(gonjo, grenengan, kembang kacang etc) at the same time....terms etymology also could help a bit for that matter..if it just a curvy blade anyone just could happend made the same thing at the same time around the world....even katana shape is actually pretty basic...thats why japanese cant submit its originality to UNESCO....if it s only about different scabbard or handle..okay...still we have to appreciate people creation...or anybody in the world just can make their own style for anything without mentioning it root/inspiration then called it their own or completely created by themself, emerged from themself without outside influence..

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
This life isn't all there is, heaven and hell are very real but Jesus Christ loves you and can save you. If you really want eternal life and to know that God is real, then just start seeking the Lord with all your heart today. If you will ask Jesus Christ with a genuine heart to please forgive all your sins, and come into your heart and please save you, he will save you and you will soon know how real he is. God bless.
Why the fuck did you comment shits in this wonderful video?
@@niniksetiawan6034 Spreading the gospel, of which there is nothing more important, where yours and everybody else's souls are going, everybody must make a choice. What is so sad is, you are not saved and take such offence to it. Especially when it is so easy to find out how real God is.
Nobody cares about your god bro
Know that playing with unknown jinn or devils is dangerous.
Proper way is sincere pray to Allah S.W.T only and make supplication to Allah S.W.T to fill with positive energy.
And know that all this keris is only a material, it's something that is dead. It's your intentions that matters.
Don't have any ties with the devils be it low level tiers or those higher levels tiers devils. Nothing good comes.
ONLY Allah S.W.T our creator. And he's the one who have all the knowledge which is much much more strong and powerful compare to the knowledge of the jinn kind.
If your intention is bad just don't. Remember this world is temporary place.
positive energy can also be gain from nature.
@@martyrinorb True. All come back to the superior Allah.
@@Anonymous-ss1ee as long as we do good as mankind, live in tolerance with one another and always thrive to do good, then whatever religion we hold or whatever gods we pray to, peace will be granted.
Your god. "Allah" is a false god masquerading as the universal god
He tells himself as the absolute, yet does not recognize his creation. Scorning them, and then tells himself as "good" and "almighty" yet he is arrogant and call that which is not his as "jinn"
Your arrogance will be met with the forces of good. Because only good, and good is universal, will destroy your evil arrogant philosophy.
