You did not mention her but I think that Simone Zion's new girlfriend will play a bigger part in the next season because it was noted that she is a criminal defense lawyer. As for Georgia being in jail I don't think she will be in there for too long she might charm her way out. But at the same time she is kind of helpless and can't control her fate while in jail so it will be up to the people around her to help her. There will most likely be interviews conducted in which we get to see peoples opinion of Georgia and the lengths others will go to to protect her. And yes Ginny has her own demons and struggles but she loves her mom and is just like her I see her coming through for her mom. Also Austin is like his mom and will do anything to protect her and we saw that when he shot Gil. As for Paul that could go either way because yes he does love Georgia and might come to her defense but I can't say I trust him because he is similar to Georgia in the sense that he will do anything to protect the thing he loves but in his life that is his career. So we will see how far he is willing to go for Georgia.

After she gets over the shock, I believe Cynthia will testify in favor of Georgia and perhaps Simone will also help Georgia since she gave that nuanced statement about criminal acts. I'm hoping the town will also come around for Georgia since she's contributed so much to the community. If Paul still wants her after knowing she's committed murder...and that's a BIG IF because although Paul took a big risk by marrying her, I feel like he only loves her to an extent and his career will always come first...anyway, if they stay together, I think he may become more stern/angry/distant/cold and Georgia may cheat on him with Joe because she feels like it's become more of a marriage of convenience. Joe will become a safe haven and secret lover, ideally. Overall, I hope next season will focus less on the kids and more on the adults. I'm interested in Ginny, Austin, and Marcus but the rest of the kids can have their stories and screentime cut down...because the focus should be on other things. The kids will be alright lol.

I know Georgia had her reasons in season 1, but I’m sorry she 100% deserved this. Cynthia may have wished her husband died but that doesn’t mean you just go behind her back and end his life. I suspect Cynthia will eventually forgive her saying she feels free and can move on, but that will take time after she comes to terms Georgia is a murderer and permanently took away her son’s father which sucks. She’s unnecessarily rude to Nick when he tells her she needs to leave the mayors office after realizing she jeopardized his campaign. Paul deserves better. He has been honest and patient with her. This will damage his image. Ginny clearly trusts her dad more who is sooo understanding and patient with Ginny’s angst. Why can’t she just respect that? Austin might grow up to be a criminal too now. Look at all the secrets he has to hold in now at such a young age. I will admit that she deserves custody of Austin over Gil. I agree! Georgia deserved it. She's definitely damaged her kids by moving them around and she just wasn't great at parenting. We've already seen the impact she's had on Ginny's mental health. Hopefully Austin ends up in therapy as he might turn out like his Dad.
i feel for austin. he’s so young, he’s going through just as much trauma as the whole family is. except, he has to hold all these secrets and feelings without telling anyone. that’ll definitely take a toll on him. nobody talks about how much austin goes through. his mom underestimates his mental health as a child, and it sucks

I have a feeling that the marriage was just a dream because it was all to perfect and cynthia wasn't there also. Usually in shows when it's like that, they fool us and it's just a dream . She also was mostly apathetic (pragmatic?) about Tom's condition earlier in the season and discussed with the nurse about how letting him die would be a mercy. Honestly made a lot of sense to me. Georgia's moral compass is fucked and her views on murder are far looser than the average 'put-together' person. The fact she did it doesn't surprise me at all, the time/how she did it, though, puzzles me. She's usually far more calculated, but then again, this was a mercy kill--not the same thing as poisoning someone. It was emotionally-charged, perhaps leading her to be more reckless.
They can go 2 ways with georgias love life. *zion is out of the question since hes got a new love now, and i think simone will be defending georgia in court* *either paul will leave her because hes officialy fed up and cant let her bring his career down* *or paul might actually still fight for her and have her back.* *i think joe will eventually move on, which sucks but they will prob push Cynthia and joe more. At the end as Georgia was getting taken to the police car Paul said “I’ll call my lawyer and I’ll sort this out” something like that so I think maybe Paul will attempt to get Georgia out of jail because We can’t have one of the main characters gone. Since Georgia got arrested AFTER they were officially married so Ginny and Austin will probably stay with Paul until She gets out. But since Max and Her mom (Ellen) both witnessed the arrest, All attention will go to Ginny and probably everything will go sideways and basically crushes her life sideways
I struggled to watch too much in one go of season one. Just started season 2. I just couldn't believe how hateful ginny always was to Georgia. Especially when she was such a great mother who never abused her kids and was always patient with them. It was really pissing me off. The writers didn't give any reasonable justifiable excuse for so much hate.
think of it from ginny's point of view... a teenager doesn't always have the best reasons for being hateful, only caring about themselves and not seeing the wider picture.
I know this isnt end of marcus ,and ginny relationship but, hope next season we get new love interest for ginny so they can explore a love triangle between them.
The whole story of the show the only need to be taking care and get therapy help is Austin. He got caught up in the middle of the complicated life of her sister and her mom Giorgia. But seriosly can't wait to watch season 3 of the show.

There’s no evidence that Georgia did it and as far as we know there was only one witness. I mean sure she had opportunity but there’s no motive for Georgia to commit the crime. So as far as cause of death is concerned there is no bruising because it was a pillow, so it could just be seen as a natural death. No one would ever suspect foul play because there’s no motive. So I don’t think she will stay in jail, I think she’ll get out and her and Paul will have to deal with the legal consequences and the public’s backlash of these allegations while Ginny deals with Austin and Marcus. Speaking of I think Austin is going to be a key player in Georgias “innocence” going into season 3

I also have a feeling Cynthia saw Austin going to Tom’s room. But Cynthia also saved G from Gil in school. So can’t really say anything. But I’ve a strong feeling it was a planned trap for Georgia by Cynthia. I’m still wondering how they’ll find evidence that Tom was murdered by Georgia. I know Georgia had her reasons in season 1, but I’m sorry she 100% deserved this. Cynthia may have wished her husband died but that doesn’t mean you just go behind her back and end his life. I suspect Cynthia will eventually forgive her saying she feels free and can move on, but that will take time after she comes to terms Georgia is a murderer and permanently took away her son’s father which sucks.
She’s unnecessarily rude to Nick when he tells her she needs to leave the mayors office after realizing she jeopardized his campaign. Paul deserves better. He has been honest and patient with her. This will damage his image. Ginny clearly trusts her dad more who is sooo understanding and patient with Ginny’s angst. Why can’t she just respect that?
Austin might grow up to be a criminal too now. Look at all the secrets he has to hold in now at such a young age. I will admit that she deserves custody of Austin over Gil.
I can’t blame Zion’s mother for being upset that she didn’t see Ginny grow up. Ginny needed someone like her in her life and she had the opportunity to be raised in a safe environment but noooo Georgia was selfish and took Ginny away from Zion instead of working it out.
Episodes 9 & 10 made me feel bad for Georgia though after learning what she went through with Gil. Although I disagree with her ways to achieve happiness for her kids, I know she has their best interests at heart, but my god is she scary and crazy.
I agree! Georgia deserved it. She's definitely damaged her kids by moving them around and she just wasn't great at parenting. We've already seen the impact she's had on Ginny's mental health. Hopefully Austin ends up in therapy as he might turn out like his Dad.
i feel for austin. he’s so young, he’s going through just as much trauma as the whole family is. except, he has to hold all these secrets and feelings without telling anyone. that’ll definitely take a toll on him. nobody talks about how much austin goes through. his mom underestimates his mental health as a child, and it sucks

I really liked this show until Georgia killed Tom. That finale was a disgrace . She says she will do anything for her kids but then puts herself in jeopardy for Cynthia? Also, Joe is so much better than whatever his name is, the mayor. I will stick around but I can’t take this show seriously anymore.

i actually saw a video that said that what lead georgia into getting arrested for what she did wasn’t anything to do with the investigator, if you watch closely when georgia comes over to her house that day with the food and alcohol, as she’s walking in, there’s a sign on the door that says “surveillance”.

I have a feeling that the marriage was just a dream because it was all to perfect and cynthia wasn't there also. Usually in shows when it's like that, they fool us and it's just a dream . Also she was arrested for the murder of Cynthia's husband and that hasn't been proven yet so there is a hint as well!

She also was mostly apathetic (pragmatic?) about Tom's condition earlier in the season and discussed with the nurse about how letting him die would be a mercy. Honestly made a lot of sense to me. Georgia's moral compass is fucked and her views on murder are far looser than the average 'put-together' person. The fact she did it doesn't surprise me at all, the time/how she did it, though, puzzles me. She's usually far more calculated, but then again, this was a mercy kill--not the same thing as poisoning someone. It was emotionally-charged, perhaps leading her to be more reckless.

At the end as Georgia was getting taken to the police car Paul said “I’ll call my lawyer and I’ll sort this out” something like that so I think maybe Paul will attempt to get Georgia out of jail because We can’t have one of the main characters gone. Since Georgia got arrested AFTER they were officially married so Ginny and Austin will probably stay with Paul until She gets out. But since Max and Her mom (Ellen) both witnessed the arrest, All attention will go to Ginny and probably everything will go sideways and basically crushes her life sideways

I struggled to watch too much in one go of season one. Just started season 2. I just couldn't believe how hateful ginny always was to Georgia. Especially when she was such a great mother who never abused her kids and was always patient with them. It was really pissing me off. The writers didn't give any reasonable justifiable excuse for so much hate.
think of it from ginny's point of view... a teenager doesn't always have the best reasons for being hateful, only caring about themselves and not seeing the wider picture.

There’s no evidence that Georgia did it and as far as we know there was only one witness. I mean sure she had opportunity but there’s no motive for Georgia to commit the crime. So as far as cause of death is concerned there is no bruising because it was a pillow, so it could just be seen as a natural death. No one would ever suspect foul play because there’s no motive. So I don’t think she will stay in jail, I think she’ll get out and her and Paul will have to deal with the legal consequences and the public’s backlash of these allegations while Ginny deals with Austin and Marcus. Speaking of I think Austin is going to be a key player in Georgias “innocence” going into season 3

Yes, same. The way she dropped clue how she wants Tom dead. Then talking about Joe and then dropping the hint that she blocked Gil’s application. And then leaving her alone. It all seems planned. I also have a feeling Cynthia saw Austin going to Tom’s room. But Cynthia also saved G from Gil in school. So can’t really say anything. But I’ve a strong feeling it was a planned trap for Georgia by Cynthia.
I’m still wondering how they’ll find evidence that Tom was murdered by Georgia. It’s very hard to prove that it was a murder unless Cynthia planted a camera or something in Tom’s room. What was the motive anyway.
