You are so right about cutting winning trades early I can point out 100’s of 100-200% wins that could’ve been 500-1200%, if I would’ve let them run!

Tony, the adjustments you referred to are for equities trading or options trading or both? Thank you.

There is a fine difference - opportunity in poker is clear. Not so in stock trading.

With the 2p.c to 5p.c rule to convert 1 k to 8k .. not possible. The maths doesnt makes sense to make that in a year . your talking 5p.c of 1k 50usd , that's not even a min 5 point tick wide spread position .

Does the idea of adding to a winning trade when things are going your way apply to short term credit option sell to open positions (even neutral)? For example, if selling a 3 day Iron Butterfly on SPX, if the position stays and continues to increase its profitability, and the underlying stays between the breakeven points (by some buffer?) then are you saying at some point prior to expiration you would sell another of the same position (same strikes) or selling another IB (or other neutral) position at the same entry conditions (ex: deltas, etc - could be different strikes now) expiring another 3 days out (or should it be set to expire the same as the first)?

What platform allows you to set conditions based on delta?
