relates another sanguine saga of fiendish fiction!
Edward- you had me at "No Madame, I am not insane." How many times have I said that on a first date!
🤣
Active, "Grenadier-type-women" dig that pick-up line. E.E.F.
"She was my mate. She was duty bound." Thank you again for another terrifying production.🖤🦇
Sinister Saturday is here again. Thank you, Mr French.
You reading is top notch 😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
I could feel the terrible conclusion approaching as my skin crawled. An incredible narration. Unnerving.
Please read some Ambrose Bierce 🙏
Take note of warning at start, it's a really awful story not suited to children listening (or anyone really). I didn't listen to end as I don't like psychopathic evil torture type stuff.
Oh, thank you for the recommendation! Can't wait to listen 😮💜
And I truly thank you. To all who can deal with that stuff, fine. But I think I'll take your word for it and pass.
@@along5925 im not fond of gore but it is good to push out of comfort zones sometimes
You are the only non-british story artist I have ever subscribed to because you are absolutely mesmerizing! Another gripping gem!
I read your comment and thought it was true of me as well. Although it had never occurred to me before.
I appreciate this comment very much. I particularly like the British authors of fantasy and horror. I particularly like M. R. James, but have held off reading more of his works until I grasped how to read them as an American without any phony baloney pretending to be British. Thank you. E.E.F.
Me too.
@@FrenchEdward06 The right choice! Thank you. I've read HP Lovecraft for the Strange Studies podcast a number of times - but only ONCE attempted to do an American accent! It's unnecessary and it doesn't work. Personally, I'd love to hear MR James in your brilliant voice.
@@greigjohnsonmaking I like M.R. James very much. I love his sly humor. I've attempted a few readings here, but decided to hold off from doing more till I could do them better. Thank you for your kind comment. Best wishes for your readings. E.E.F.
Ah yes, Mr. French, so good to hear from you.
