OVD is a virtual directory server, that means it act as a router to connect multiple backend ldap servers (OID, MS AD, DB Based etc). And for that OVD use connectors. LDAP adaptor is one of them, used by OVD to connect OID LDAP server.
OAM use multiple cookies based on the requirements like one Cookie created when a user authenticated, and subsequent other cookies created to identify if the user is active, or inactive or session expired etc.
Ok, then here are the high level steps. You can do some research after going through it. You can able to do that. 1. You need cn=orcladmin passowrd of OID 2. Download Oracle Identity Manager Connectror for OID from oracle website 3.Install OID connector from oim system administrator console 4.Run PurgeCache script 5. Configure OID under IT resource tab from oim administration console
