The middle class as the world knows it is very tiny in BD and those living below poverty line are in huge numbers. The ultra rich benefit from keeping the poor poor so don’t lift a finger to make laws that help them. The growth and modernisation we see is enjoyed largely by the upper class, other expats and to a tiny extent some of the middle class. I’m not surprised at the students revolting because their futures are being stolen. They however will not gain anything by hurting other innocents.
