If youre a new trader. Dont quit your daytime job just yet to cover yoursef if things dont work out. I have layered approach where, I have 10 k in my live account, but Im only allow to lose the first $300 dollars. So Im forced to play with small lots, have to enter the mindset of risk lil but win big mentality. After I lose that first 300, have to go out and make it back with my regular job to fill it back up before playing again. If Im not good enough to be profitable and lose the first 300, then Im not ready for the big show yet.

Great Video Mark! Good idea to frame these situations as a test and part of the journey. Everytime I hit these points it is like it is happening only to me...now i see that it is happening to everybody.

Distractions. As a home based trader, these got to me so badly in the past 6 months that eventually prompted me to immediately stop trading. Currently waiting for the completion of a separate and new trading office.

point 2: perfectly wrong. you don't know how many times my entry price acted as strongest support and resistance when i am in short and long respectively.

A couple of months ago I had a two week losing streak that was statistically impossible😂.

Rather than set an arbitrary loss limit on the session I prefer to set a 3 losing trades in a row limit. By then I know my take on the market is wrong and I need to step away and review . Being in the UK I can always come back in the afternoon to trade the US open. Or go cycling. I know before I place the first trade it could be a losing day..I expect them....it doesn't bother me anymore it's all part of the game. One snowy day doesn't make a winter . Waffle end.

I agree. After studying and observing the market for 3yrs. And actively trading (indices especially) I’ve come to this conclusion too. I only take 3 trades per day on 1 particular market. And total of 15 trades per week. As I find it very helpful analysing the market by the end of each day. And can make my losses back the next trading day. If you have a decent tight risk you can make the losses back in a short period of time.
