All their songs are excellent and involve a wide variety of Metal sub-genre, often within the same song. Almost all songs include individual guitar solos and a harmony-duet that follows. They are an ensemble and present as such, no singled-out 'star' but all featured in-turn. Possibly least 'featured' in performance is their head-banging bassist, composer, lyricist, leader and co-founder Rosana Miho. Vocalist Asami is the other primary lyricist. 333 - so glad you found LOVEBITES. most talented group of gorgeous ladies out there. 67 year old bass player here and have heard everything there is from about '58 on up. this band is superior to anything i've heard in about 35 or more years. jeezus man if these girl's had been around in the 60's or 70's guys would have lost their minds.glad you see the fine points of the band as a musician. the live performances are legendary already. just can't get enough
Have you reacted to Epilogue? It is a beautiful ballad and you'll find another aspect of Lovebites. Edge of the world is insane too. It begins with beautiful and impressive ballad and after 4 transactions, ends up with power metal. You'll see many different aspects of Lovebites. They are called white wolves but act like a chameleon!

They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan for awhile). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music. They have only been around for about 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and now they’re taking it to another level. This was a medium-intensity song for them. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. One key to their sound is that the two shredders are so different in style and tone. Midori is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets really rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Lovebites are the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band. They are influenced by 80s metal. They've got three albums and two EP's and two live and video albums. In March is coming the third EP Glory Glory to the world. They want to step closer to their inspiration bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween, Metallica and Slayer. By the way their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 albums for 2020 year. 333 Yeah, a bit of reminiscing today when I saw your "Rising" acoustic reaction listing. I haven't stopped listening to LOVEBITES many times/songs everyday since June 2020. I have acquired all their releases, CDs & Blu-rays & dozens (!) of shirts. Haven't made it to a LIVE show, yet. Good to see you, & see you enjoying LOVEBITES. Coincidence? Seems back then I left a link to "Rising" that was removed by the time you tried to view it. Once LOVEBITES started their auditions for bassist in March 2022 I have not been aware of a song taken down or reaction being blocked. I think they (Victor) finally figured out how good of promotion it is to let people hear & see them.
I really hope they are okay with reactions now as I definitely want to do more of them as they are one of the most consistent bands I've ever seen. Hopefully one day they tour the states as I'd love to see em out here. And very you buy lots of merch as great bands like this need all the support they can. Also thanks for the link!
Best metal band in 30 years, been following them since 2017, have everything they've released so far. Been in metal heaven ever since. They are Irton Maiden + Judas Priest + Helloween + Dragonforce + a healthy dose of Slayer, Nightwish and Megadeath all mashed up into a the best metal Godz band to rise in decades.
Hey Chris, the technical prowess of these girls is insane, they eat sweep picking for breakfast! They don't do just power metal, they also do thrash, hard rock and have quite a few power ballads also. They have been together since 2016 and have released 3 full albums so far with an EP coming March this year. The vocalist used to be an RnB, Soul singer, this is her first metal venture. They sing 100% in English by the way and have beautiful and powerful lyrics. Check out - Edge of the World, Hammer of Wrath, Swan Song, Empty Daydream, Scream for Me, Break the Wall, all Live.
