I am so happy to start the year like this! My friend Piper and her sister Bella brought such a fresh breeze of music into my Life :D You might remember Piper from a video we did in Cusco 4 years ago, it was actually another song that Nina Simone sings. It was so beautiful to reconnect and sing together once more. Music is Freedom! This is the first of a series of videos we recorded while the Olson sister came to visit in Barcelona :)

i don't understand why was there a need to add "woman" to the lyric, are you implying that Nina didn't think about woman when writing that lyric?
Because they don't understand that in this song the word "Man' is shorthand for 'Mankind'. Nina did.
