After reading some of the comments, I am disappointed and perplexed. "Colorism" does not have to be a reality. I just wish the interviewer hadn't made the mindless statement. As a society, we must stop falling victim to the social construction of color of skin; because, it's STUPID. All shades are exceptionally BEAUTIFUL.
Colorism, Sexism, Classism, Racism, Ageism, Colonialism-and all the rest of the “isms” are disgusting. They all share one thing in common: mental illness. One has to be crazy to think that anyone is superior to the other. Dust we are, and dust we shall will return.
Black people got to stop claiming biracials as theirs for real. Biracials are not the same as blacks. I love DeBarge they are very handsome but they are biracial since they have 1 black parent and 1 white parent.
