Not really. The real reason its decent now is that the patches were really good for magic damage, holy crystal, reduced all magic defense items, and before that, radiant armor nerf. Been spamming julian after recent update and before kairi brought it to mpl playoffs; it really just hit me when i was watching that he literally used the same build for joy on julian. That build just scales better, genius wand is really obsolete now; its like building malefic roar as second item for most assassins, just build it early because you will eventually need it so that you utilize it when you actually need it rather than building it when the enemy already has the defense and now you are just playing catch up buying malefic roar, and the build path for that is terrible because it is just one legion sword.

Despite the nerfs, I still use him in Ranked Games, but selectively. When you truly master a hero, you find ways to overcome nerfs. What's important is your deep understanding of the hero and matchups. Some players only use him because he's considered overpowered or in the meta, but they're often less skilled compared to dedicated main users.

Genius wand gives flat penetration 15-25+ penetration Meaning even if the opponent have 15 magic defense it will go -10 and in result it will deal much much more damage, building genius wand is more like building blade of heptaseas as first item don't compare it to malefic roar
In the final, it won't be that easy.

Why would he thank Mobazane? Bro, Kairi has been using that Julian in tournaments for a long time, and he only used it again recently. Just because Mobazane spammed Julian in ranked games doesn't mean Kairi immediately watches him. Mobazane has never used Julian in a tournament before, and I don't think he'll be able to use it in one.
Mobazane's meatriders think that the world of ML revolves solely around Mobazane, but he only uses his Julian in ranked games and often gets upset when he loses to random players using Julian. I'm telling you, Kairi couldn't care less about whether Mobazane uses Julian or not, and the idea for Kairi to use Julian in the tournament didn't come from Mobazane.

I am all for Liquid Echo and Falcon AP Bren, but I hope that Evos doesn't make it to MSC and have Geek Fam destroy them completely, so that it will never be full indo pride even if they somehow manage to still win at MSC this year (very unlikely to happen though, especially with the two PH teams).
