I cannot believe that I'd kept so long without watching. I'm in season 3 & it just keeps getting better. I don't buy the "captain" situation but I'll overlook that part. The humor, the puns, the movie references... Really enjoyed binging on 2 seasons & can't stop.
+E. Ramone because the actor is damn great, the character has been a LOT of fun in Legends S2 AND because Arrow literally squandered the potential of such a fun and menacing actor and character? Also he works as a great rival to Sara-led team considering he is tied to Arrow show's biggest mistake. Keeping him around as an enemy in some form leaves a hope for fandom that one day that bullshit could be undone in some way.
They did a great job with him last season, too - for one thing, Damien seemed MORE dangerous without his magic, because he could actually FIGHT hand-to-hand ("Arrow" had Damien Darkh be completely useless without magic) and because while he was cheesy, he could also be legitimately cunning and dangerous. Here's hoping that, magic or no magic they use him well this time around.
Harry Dresden As much as I think he's a great villain, I didn't want him back for this season. Or for season 2. I still enjoy him as a character. Hopefully this is the last time we see him.
The only three things that I registered... Martin being mad at Grodd, the idea that we might FINALLY get captain cold back, and nate Geeking out over the Delorian...

This looks to be at least as good as Season 2, I still can't believe how much it improved from Season 1. Arrow and Legends were the best last year, let's hope they're at least as good this year and that the other CW shows can improve as well.

Legends bounced up from mediocrity to become THE best arrowverse show. The progress from S1 to S2 of Legends is INSANE in terms of quality. Arrow simply started fucking up less, but they still did not fix anything that is wrong with that mess, so no. Its still bland gray Nolan wannabe show focused on Oliver's manpain and full of misogyny and awful writing decisions.
Scriptwriters made us hate Laurel, Thea and Felicity. There was no need to make them throw bitchy and whiny tantrums every second. No males moped around half as much, except perhaps oliver, who was usually forgiven because he still kicked ass. I don't think it's deliberately misogynistic, but they definitely fucked up way more often when writing female characters. And you can't deny the awful writing decisions, though. Season 5 just included better choreography, less hocus-pocus , villian plot holes and Felicity whining about something or other.
