Dragon Forge bases are amazing. However, it takes like 1-2 months for the guy to make/ship them to you, after you order them. If he ever got more help, and could build a backstock, he'd be a serious competitor for SWM.

the achilles pattern dreadnought is my favourite warhammer 40k unit along imperial knights. Sometimes i like the simple blocky militaristic style of things like the marauder bomber or the macharuis tank or a warhound titan. BUT smoetimes i want to go full sci-fi knight and the custodes and grey knights are perfect for that.

Just started collecting custodies only wish they would get a big points drop so I could start fielding 10 man squads maybe drop the regular troops in line with primaris space marines

Where's the Solar Watch and the Shadowkeepers auxiliares forces? I build and paint myself a considerable Custodes army and I could not do without those detachments. At The same time I am learning to paint as I am in this hobby for a gear or two. So my Custodes are not such masterpieces as yours but I can see progress as the army grows in number. That will be my first army in this game. The wto distinct detachment of The Shadowkeepers nad The Solar Watch add flavour to the whole enterprise. I have just finished my fir

Spears are better in my opinion just lower strength however swords and stormshields have a significant effect on tabletop

I really wish the castodues vehicles where available as standard product. Forgeworld is very expensive for those of us from over seas.
