Meet George and Yame! The cubs Kevin helped rescue from Spain. Although Kevin and Jade are interacting with the cubs it's for their well being and rehabilitation. Kevin is against cub petting as lions are NOT pets and belong in the wild.

George and Yame were brought up in an environment where they had daily contact with humans, in order to reduce their stress and enhance their enrichment Kevin and Jade (both experts in their field) think it's best to let them continue interacting with the cubs. Of course it is best for animals to be in the wild, or if that is not possible, live a lifestyle as close to being in the wild as it can be. So while we do not recommend contact with wild animals, in this instance it is for the sake of the animals well being.

The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his TH-cam Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.
Its always fun to see old videos and see how these guys have grown up 🙂

Where would these two precious lions be if Kevin didn't rescue them? I shutter to think. Too bad Kevin can't be bred, especially at the rate of lions being bred. 🦁❤️🐾 we need more Kevin Richardsons!

Seeing these two as young cubs is amazing. They're both still adorable... but man have they grown up!! This is why i love rewatching his older videos!

kevin richardson, you are truly amazing! i know its not much of a comparison, but i have raised a litter of 7 female cats from a ferile cat since birth. the bond you develop with them is such a strong one. im in a way "mama", and we have our own way of communicating with each other. i thought i was the only one who bites them back! its their way of showing affection and love. someday i hope to be able to see this in person. they are majestic creatures and the love that i know i have for my girls, must be the same love you have for all of these sweet animals. thank you for your hard work in making sure these animals are around for our children and grandchildren to see. love from Texas!

I am just so in love with what this man does for these animals!!!!! I have watched this channel grow and I have shared it so much in hopes that people will subscribe and allow this man to raise money to keep doing the amazing things he is doing. We need to get this channel to 1 million. If people can have that many subscribers doing pranks and stuff that means nothing to life then this man deserves that 10 fold. They are such snugglers. I LOVE IT. Now they're VERY BIG boys. Recently saw a picture of George on Kevin's facebook page. WOW, WHAT A GORGEOUS adult he is. Yami is, too. I've seen them on their walks with Kevin. ADORABLE.
One of my favorite things to do is to see these lions flourish and grow. They always make me smile and feel happy seeing them healthy and happy and enjoying life.
Kevin has a true gift from God to show that these animals are so special and that they can actually bond with humans. He never forgets they're Wild but he plays with them just like he's one of them and they accept him too! I could watch this all day!

The boys are looking healthy and happy! I love their micro manes. It's wonderful to see them so content. I know there's no better place for them right now than in Kevin's loving care. His lions thrive. And because he's passionate about all lions, not just the ones in his care, I believe lions might have a chance to thrive in the wild once again. Kevin gives me back some of the faith I've lost in humanity. This video warms the heart, you can see perfectly how this gorgeous little boys (5:51 cuteness overload) show their love. They are playful, happy, and, on the top of all, they are safe
I love animals, specially big cats. I would be the happiest person in the world if someday I end up volunteer/working in a place like this Sanctuary where I could do something to help and protect those beautiful creatures against atrocities that my own species does to them.

As a cat owner, I have to say I'm surprised by how much they remind me of my cat. They just act the exact same way, they're just a little bigger :D On the other hand I don't know what I've expected. But these cuties sure look healthy and happy!

thanks very much for taking the time to explain things to me. I'd gladly buy the merchandise or donate. I currently give to 5 animal charities, 2 for cats here in Scotland and 3 international ones who are also fighting against canned lion hunting. I didn't realise how bad the situation actually was until becoming a subscriber to the channel. our native Scottish wild cat is in danger of extinction but at least it is not hunted to destruction and abused in the way the big cats are. there are some sick folk in the world. ill find out how to donate and buy merchandise. I'd actually rather give to a sanctuary like this one. Kevin Richardson has done an amazing job, especially having a family to care for too. His cats and hyenas are lovely. His knowledge and presentation of the wee clips is just great. thanks again.

George is the naughty one and yame is more laid back, their so cute it’s amazing how much these animals trust him to let him do what he does with them, I think most of us who love animals would love to be able to play with and cuddle with a lion

This is absolutely to adorable. Mr Richardson and his team have done an amazing job with all of these animals. I for one have been inspired by his example and appreciate the beauty that he has shown that these animals really are. Hopefully one day we all as human beings, can truly respect and live harmony with these and all animals in the wild. It might be a fanciful dream but it would be a nice dream come true. ☺👍
