    While planning my trip to Japan, I found it only takes two minutes longer (according to Google Maps) to walk from Shiba Park to Roppongi than taking the subway. How is this area at night time, since that's when I would likely be walking (probably around 6 or 7pm)? There's a really famous pizza place near Shiba Park called Pizza Studio Tamaki. Have you ever been John?

    my question John was your friend who's business sadly burned down, when he returned after the fire discovered that it had smoked the sausages and meats that developed a unique great taste that got him his job at Costco to smoke the sausages and meats there!

    • @onlyinjapanGO
      @onlyinjapanGO  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂 I think the story went differently - but WHITE SMOKE products are pretty good quality at Costco and I once saw him at Costco at a booth selling it. Shame about the restaurant! It was the best Texas BBQ place in Tokyo (probably Japan!)

    I don't think that the signal generally is the problem. As you have noted before, your new iPhone have problem with it's autofocus.
    With this problem, it would not matter if the picture was in 4k, it would still look like 240p (when the camera is out of focus)...
    Is there a reason why you insist on continue to use the new phone, when it is worse than your old one? Or why you don't replace it with a new one/get it fixed?
    You never had this problem's before you switched.

    • @mrs.quills7061
      @mrs.quills7061 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Streaming relies completely on signal and internet quality what are you talking about? He’s had plenty of streams that have ended, crashed or whatever for years now. It’s why if he’s on a train and it goes through a tunnel it buffers. It has nothing to do with the phone, it’s TH-cam and unstable internet connections.
      It also doesn’t matter that iPhones can shoot in 4K or autofocus. He’s not using the camera app, he’s streaming directly from TH-cam in a city where many others are clogging up the connection. Internet congestion causes stream delays and other issues, even if you aren’t mobile. I used to stream on Twitch and if there’s signal loss or someone is doing something while I’m streaming it can cause the quality to be bad.
      Now, if I record videos that aren’t live then I can have 4K quality similar to what John has in his main channel.

    Loving the city streams John! And ah, the team labs exhibit is something I really want to see when I come to Japan. It looks so cool and interactive. I recently learned about it, a lot of American celebrities and stars have been in there and taken selfies. As a digital artist, I really appreciate what they did to make a non traditional gallery. Not sure if you could get permission, but it would make an awesome episode if you could get in touch with the artists who show there or the people who run it.

    How many times we met under the spider. There’s an Indian restaurant in Roppongi Hills with a beautiful buffet BUT, the best part is the 1-hour all-you-can -drink. We got quite sloshed a couple of times. They keep filling your glass and fitted quite a few in an hour!

      Oh come on, I’m talking about tips. Waiting tables is hard work but if you don’t like people, YOU WILL NEVER BE GOOD AT IT. I want to succeed at any job I do. To me, success was if the customer had a good experience and that means being a people person. If you are good at it, you will get a lot of tips - or the restaurant will pay you more to keep you because most people are not good at it or care. If you only do it for money, you will not last long at waiting tables. It will wear you out. I did it for a summer - it was actually fun, hard work, and I learned about “steps” and how to economize time to use every second effectively. One of the best jobs I did in life.

    • @blackevanuz
      @blackevanuz 3 ปีที่แล้ว
