TS Madison and Shekinah need a weekly podcast where they can discuss everything they have discussed during the six lovely episodes of this show and more. They have a wonderful sisterly banter that expresses wisdom, love, and understanding. It would be groundbreaking. They are truly sistas. ❤
Yall watch TS Madison in the Morning! She always speak on these type of subjects with liquor!🤣🤣That part that Bey got on her song came from one of her Maddie in the Morning episodes
After all she’s been through you’d think she’d know better?? Yet, she’s ignorant and uninformed and her way of thinking is offensive. Every time she opened her mouth I cringed.
Madison, this is what your talk show should have always been: luxurious, smart, witty, sexy, profound and profane, frank, and real conversation. I love the call in and the expert segments. This show feels like you. It suits you and no the other way around. Somebody listened to you! I love it!
This can NOT be the last episode we need more of Maddie and Shekinah!!! I love how they don’t always agree and have different opinions but it’s still love!! Please extend or renew them for more shows. This is crazy 🥺🥺🥺
Shekinah is a perfect example of someone “making it” and turning a blind eye to racism because it doesn’t affect them in the same way. It’s like wypipo. It doesn’t exist because it doesn’t affect them. It’s weird af.
I think shenikah uses her privileges to the upmost and maybe isn't aware of other aspects of systematic oppression but she was open to learning and understanding, which I appreciate.
She's been that way honestly. When the riot was going on and people were looting the Gucci store. She cried on her live on ig. Going on about how 'Gucci ain't did nothing to yall' (but this is the same brand that made sweaters mocking blackface minstrels)....All skin folk ain't kinfolk
TS MADISON AND SHEKINAH I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WAS THE LAST EPISODE!!!!! WE NEED MORE OF YOU TWO TOGETHER!!!! Y'ALL ARE A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN, PLEASE COME OUT WITH Y'ALL OWN PODCAST PLEASE MUVA MADDIE❤❤
This was a great show TS and shekinah are the best together. We love raw unfiltered black women who speak there her heart center. And yes the black man did sold his people in the trans Atlantic slave trade.I talk about that on my channel. IT GETS DEEP
Preference is often prejudice. It’s an excuse for wanting to be a pick me. A lot of valid points were made in response to Shekinah ignorance of Blackness.
Shekinah, you gotta do more research on the Black history. The nuance of Black people is not as simple other races of people. Dating outside of your race as a pick me never goes well. Love the show!
BRAVO!!!! 👏👏👏👏 What an amazing season Maddie! I learned so much and I enjoyed Shekinah as a co-host. Thank you Blavity TV! I cannot wait for the next season.❤
After this episode…I know without a doubt TS Madison is my best friend in my head. Shekinah is that girl who I want to hang out with everyday. I love the two of them together. This show was soooo good and makes me feel good. I am pro BLACK and always will be.
I've had my times with Madison.. And I might not be here to stroke her ego ..But this is the project she was made for ..This is her best work in my opinion....
The conversation could be so much better if Shekinah expanded on her thoughts. She one words Maddie a lot. I agree with Maddie that slavery, red lining, and systematic racism is the reason black people have animosity towards their own. Also, I love black men but the way they treat women in general makes me really upset and I am considering dating outside of my race. I also agree with Maddie that we'll never be one America, different races will always be at odds.
I agree, it’s like the conversation would be flowing almost like a breath of fresh air and then Shekinah would say something or open her mouth and it’s a buzz kill. I love Shekinah and have loved her since she came on the scene 10 yrs ago however I would love for her to elongate her mind because the conversation made some pretty good points/
This one really touched me because Shakinah really think we can all get along. When there are systems placed in peoples ignorance. She means well and i love her growth as a person❤.
This was such a deep and nuanced conversation, I really appreciatedyou and Shenikah's commentary on aspects of black love. I hope one day as black people including lgbtq and disabled we can all get along, maybe to start.
I need TS Madison and Shekinah to make a podcast PLEASEEEE 😩😩 I absolutely loved this season over all the other ones and I’m so sad to see this one go 😩
yessssssssss great topics so beautiful and so ethnically proud please continue to embrace all things positive proud and inner confidence GOD BLESS EVERYONE B C YOUR MORE IMPORTANT THAN U KNOW.
I felt her when she said that when Typically when Black Women date out their race it’s due for the quest of love and it’s genuine verse when black men do it they preface it by putting black women down.
The idea that “Blacks sold Blacks into slavery” is one of the most successful pieces of racist propaganda ever - despite it being about as absurd as saying Vladmir Putin is bombing “his own people” (in Ukraine). In the same way England, Scotland, Ireland, Japan, China, Korea, etc have seen each other as rivals; Yoruba, Igbo, Urhobo, Dahomey, Itsekiri, Ashanti, Fante, Ga or any of the hundreds of West African ethnic groups didn’t see themselves as fellow “Black people”. A lot of them were rival nations, kingdoms or empires - often warring against each other. European human traffickers, seeking people they could enslave to cultivate the Americas, arrived in Africa and did what they do: kidnapped and trafficked millions of people. Where they did not go on human snatching rampages, they offered goods, including weapons, in exchange for people. As in most other places, slavery had existed in parts of Africa for centuries. The enslaved were often prisoners of war or prisoners (the latter remains the effective case in the United States as a result of the 13th amendment to the Constitution). The arrival of European weaponry created an arms race. Whichever ethnic group had more guns had more power. The coin of exchange the Europeans demanded in return was people. As ethnic studies professor Anthony Q Hazard explains, this reshaped slavery in parts of Africa from the result of wars to the cause of wars. Because European weapons became essential to survival, some African leaders had two choices: collaborate with European enslavers or perish. Critically, many more Africans violently resisted the trade than were involved in it. They often resisted on humanitarian grounds or in defense of what they considered their actual people, not what we would today monolithically describe as “Africans” or “Black people”. Some West African groups used scarification techniques to clearly mark those who belonged to their group, and thus those for whom they should fight to be protected or liberated from slavery. The idea of “Black people selling Black people” into slavery is a distortive shorthand used to minimize and deflect culpability - and to shame people into silence against demands for justice and reparation.
Shakania mentioned the crabs in a barrel analogy when discussing black relationship but people often miss the fact that the crabs are trying to survive. The true blame should be on the people who put them in the Barrel in the first place. Follow the source of the animosity not the result of it.
There was also slavery within Africa, but the topic of Africans selling Africans gets used to defend and downplay the horrors of chattle slavery and the reality of systemic racism. There was slaver all over and human trade, but the slavery described in the bible, and the version of slavery that was commonplace around the world was entirely different than what our ancestors were put through.
Here's the facts !!! Yes... Some things can change, like laws, but that doesn't mean everyone in the world is gonna like & agree with those laws . Yes... Certain things will change in certain people, but the certain things that changed in those people, will not change in everyone else in the world . Certain things like prejudice, racism, homophobia, etc. will never go away because that's just how it is . There are people who will automatically dislike strangers for different reasons & many people just won't like people because they have certain feelings about them . Like bad vibes etc. That's the reality of life .
They need to allow a full hour with structure, so that we can get to a lucid moral. These conversations can be impactful, but they need to extend the time.
The stylist being unbothered AF has been one of my favorite parts of the show lol
I love that part. Omg. He be paying the TS dust, yet she still can't help but read him to the floor.
Lmaoooo right!🤣🤣🤣
Jamison Bennett is so unbothered 😂
Jamison do be unbothered don't he!!! Jamison be having all Muva Maddie's looks serving every time!!!!
That's Jamison. Respect on it.

Maddie and Shekinah needs to just be the whole show. No shade to the other segments but that's where the magic is.
Ts Madison and shakania were both right on what they were saying this was a great conversation ❤
Shekinah is a perfect example of someone “making it” and turning a blind eye to racism because it doesn’t affect them in the same way. It’s like wypipo. It doesn’t exist because it doesn’t affect them. It’s weird af.

Shakania is right about us selling our own people as trade in that ancient time
Absolutely right. But our ppl don't educate themselves. If our ppl would they would know who they are
