Hi and welcome back to another episode of Super Kit & Krysta 64. Today, we're going on a retro game shopping spree at some local stores in the San Jose, CA area. We asked our Patreon community what kind of things we should look out for and they send us a shopping list. We hit up three stores to look for these items. Wow I'm so happy you guys are doing some game shopping in San Jose, we're in the top 10 most populous cities in the country, but get overshadowed a lot. We have a ton of great game & comic shops here. I think you guys stopped in the best ones but there are some real deep cut spots away from downtown too 😉
Would definitely love to see one of these videos again. Searching for retro games and visiting retro stores is one of my favorite parts of gaming.

It whas so nostalgic to see something Animal crossing Wild World related in the 1st store as it's my 1st ever Animal crossing game 💙. Aaaaaaaaah and the Kirby stuff in the last store all looked sooooooo cute 🥺.

Hope you do more of these types of videos. There is one retro video game store I recommend in the North Bay. It's called Nostalgia Alley and it's located in Petaluma, CA. If you do go there, I recommend stopping by a little pie shop nearby called Petaluma Pie Company as well.
I enjoyed this. I like your outing videos and it gives good insight and visibility into supporting businesses like those retro stores. Keep them coming 😊

9:56 Wow, that Star Wars game was one of the first video games I can remember playing. My parents had a Atari 2600 and we would dust it off occasionally. Others games were Berzerk, Super Man, and Space Invaders. We also had a PC jr where we had some games on 5 inch floppy disc like Ghostbusters.

This was fun! I was expecting to see bigger selections for N64 and Gamecube. I hope that means the games are still in loving homes! I have such great memories growing up and playing them with my brother back then 😊 The box art for Top Gun is so cool!

About a year ago, I picked up a complete virtual boy, with Mario Tennis, Bomberman (with manual, in the box), and Galactic Pinball… for $60 at my local Savers! And it happened here in Kansas of all places!
GameStop downstairs is my fav store!!!!

I love going to retro game stores so this video was a blast to watch! Ever since moving to the states I’ve spent a lot of time visiting local video game shops, and was so surprised when I realized that I’ve been to the final store you guys checked out (The Retro Fix) not too long ago myself! Totally caught me off guard lol.

I still have my Wii which is 14 years old. And it has some good third party physical games and I only had 3 Gamecube games.
I just bought a Gameboy in 2019. Although it’s challenging to play, it’s still fun depending on the titles

Saw what looked to be a limited edition of Last Story next to Mario 25th anniversary. Alao been to La Vic a few years back while at the nearby convention center.
I had an Atari Jaguar. It's an acquired taste. It's just bringing that Atari feel into 3D and some 2D games get some pretty good graphics for the time. I'm playing my Atari VCS now, which has access to a lot of those things, and can also run Windows 11 at the same time. It's a decent piece of hardware, still being supported at the moment.

I could see why the Virtual Boy was hard to find. It had marketing problems way worse than the WiiU and as a result, there weren’t that many units made.
Edit: Nowadays people just buy it just as a collectible even if they’re not planning to play it which would immediately be harmful to the eyes.
Nintendo 64 always has a short stock. I think they weren't produced as much and then many people hang onto them because they always work. They are very high quality systems and cartridges.
