For those interested, the component at 6:27 is a thermal fuse. It cuts off power, when it gets too hot.
Like when Grey starts microwaving metal.

logan holland There should be a comma because it’s an incomplete and complete sentence being combined. “It cuts off power” has a subject and predicate, while “when it gets to hot” only has a predicate.

The weirdest thing I've ever microwaved in a microwave was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a pizza stuffed with anchovies, a toothbrush plus dental floss and a shoe.

I microwaved an uncrustable PBJ sandwich and it was like a hot pocket and it kind of exploded when I took a bite of it and it burned my hand.

I read once that putting a shoe in the freezer is a way to kill the bacteria inside it that produce the smell after a while, microwaving a shoe might do the same

I’ve taken apart a microwave and that was actually surprisingly accurate, even the labels.
I was destroying the titanic AND MOTHER OF GOD THERE WAS SADNESS EVERYWHERE AND I HAD 3 PARTS LEFT

One time when I was young I microwaved a cup full of chocolate chips for 5 minutes because I wanted to make chocolate fudge. About two minutes in I smell burning and open it up only to find the cup ON FREAKING FIRE. I panic, grab another cup, fill it with water, and chuck that into the microwave. I then had to go tell my dad that I set the microwave on fire. I have not yet lived that one down

I had a microwave die on me, it had arched electricity inside and MELTED THE GLASS, in one spot, but still its melting point is about 3000F
Also as a fun fact, if you dont properly discharge a microwave and touch the wrong part, you will die.
I believe it is the part at 9:06 (the yellow box thing with coils on it) or anything directly attached to it
Alot of DIY stuff with electricity used to use parts from a microwave and alot of people died because of this.

Once i was to lazy to bake muffins so i pit them in the mic in a silicone pan. Safe to say i dont have that microwave any more.

Allow me to correct Gray. If you're cooking a whole chicken, you'll want to put it in the microwave for a whole hour in a roast pan. If you're microwaving a pre-cooked chicken, THEN 20 minutes will make your chicken unhappy

From experience of taking a microwave apart, the easist thing to do is: go inside, grab a hammer, go back and destroy it

some dangerous and toxic parts inside a microwave, but the turn-table motor is pretty fun. hold it in your hand (touching the terminals) and force the motor to turn. it's a good time. gave one to some football players in highschool. they had some fun trying to hold onto it

3:19: I eat frozen pizzas from the grocery store, and I cut them into sixths.
And yes, it is harder to cut it into sixths than eighths, owing to the fact that with eighths you can just cut it into quarters and cut the quarters in half, which is not possible with sixths.
But it makes more sense because frozen pizzas (at least the ones I get) are about 18”. Tops.
Also, I just want to take a moment to appreciate that Gray and I share a favorite kind of pizza. Pepperoni all the way!

The reason microwaves have so many screws and are a pain to take apart (even in real life) is because doing so can kill you in like 6 different ways if you don't know what you are doing.
The Pizza Hut that I frequent cut their pizzas into eight slices, though I tend to cut them up further into 14 slices (I'll have 4 slices, then have 4 more the first night & next night I'll have four slices with the last two usually being the biggest of the slices)! Its a way to trick your brain into thinking your eating more! My favorite kind of pizza is a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut! Favorite topping is pepperoni!

This video made me make a scientific inference.
All kitchen items (except the blender!) will explode the bomb. It will be a bigger explosion, since, the kitchen items all cook, they would explode as well. The blender would just show the contents of the bomb, which, if you lit them on fire, they would probably explode.
Also, in my life, and I'm only a tween, I've had at least 2 failing microwaves. The third one still works, but a little bit ago, it just showed an "E"

I actually microwaved a pair of socks. I needed a clean pair fast for school. 10 min later, nearly dry socks, and a smell that took months to go away.
