@@TheComedyGuitarGuy Yep. Sabine Schmitz on Old Top Gear went around in a diesel transit in just over 10 minutes. To get a time like that, there was a massive amount of weight reduction and a Gen 1 or 2 viper in front of her with a massive wing creating clean air.

@@budlit1854 it is harder in real life. All those journalists ect you see on tv doing it make it look easy. Even an mx5/miata with a welded diff set, up for drifting. You only need a couple of gears and not a lot of speed. I did a drift day earlier so hard

Drifting looks so easy when DJS is driving xd
You know I was banging my head against the wall because I just couldn't for the life of me get a handle on drifting, it was pathetic.
Then I switched to using a controller instead of a racing wheel and it was like night and day. A hell of a lot easier on a controller. On the wheel I literally couldn't get 1 star on a drift zone, with the controller I think I could pull off most of what's in this video.
When I pay attention to what I'm doing with the controller it becomes obvious why its do hard with a wheel - I'm jumping back and forth between full right and full left turn constantly, and with a wheel I just can't get that full turn even close to quick enough, especially when you're also feeling out the brakes, handbrake and throttle. To do it well you're really playing around with steering and throttle quite a bit, and then to really be precise you gotta be tapping brakes and handbrakes and even using your clutch - its just too much all at once for me to do on a wheel. But on a controller the button layout is so etched in my brain from years of gaming that its easier to just let it flow naturally.
At a certain point it just 'clicks' and you're able to do the precision drifting without even really being able to describe what you're using and when. It's just a mix of everything all at once pretty much.
But the key for me is I was never using enough throttle and I wasn't steering as dramatically or as deeply as I needed to be.

Hell yeah, I've made a ton of races with my '92 Ford escort RS Cosworth, fully updated to the S1 category, perfect for any type of road, easy to handle, absolutely one of the best cars in the game.
The Ivan Ivanov aha that’s the first car I maxed out shit is fast af and smooth alongside all the other subie’s in the game but I couldn’t just drive one car

I prefer the 97 Scoobie. But the RS Cosworth is better than both. I just wish they had a Celica GT4 in the game though..... SEGA Rally Championship style. (plus I used to have a Celica 1984 Celica in real life and is my favorite ever car I owned).

I've always maintained collecting cars, especially high-performance/value ones is a huge benefit- if a very rare car is found to be a class king or just an amazing car, chances are, you've already owned it long before it becomes too prized to find in the auction house

A personal favorite of mine is the Hot Wheels Bone Crusher, I haven’t messed with tuning but I’ve upgraded it to S2 and it can dominate whatever you throw at it; cross country, dirt, road racing it really doesn’t matter. Extremely fun to drive as well.

put the front aero to 3/4
and the rear to 1/2
then lower the car and adjust the gearing
that should be a good starting point
I recommend ericship's build, top speed is about 274 mph. It's also AWD.

FREE SENNA: To everyone who doesn't know and maybe doesn't check their xbox messages if you played the Forza Horizon 4 Demo before release then Xbox will have sent you a code for a FREE McLaren Senna! I played the Demo a long time ago so I don't know the cut off. And it's official it'll be in your messages from Xbox with the code. You can hit the link and it'll take you too the official Xbox site and automatically enter it and go back into the game and the Senna* is immediately in your garage. I know for a fact I'm not the only one one and I very much doubt it was only so many cause I ain't that lucky lol I always ignore those messages for game pass deals, and thank you for purchases, and of course Senna is the first car I saved up for (1 mill) just to find a free one 😒 lol 👍 see ya on the track!

Don’t sleep on the Nissan R390 it’s got some good power and handling. If you can’t afford an MC12 or an F1 GT it’s a good substitute.
