We ran one of these for a number of years. We normally used it on first and third crop hay that was going into the silo. We found that the hay being pulled together from 12' to the 9' crimping rolls left clumps along the edges of the swaths and it didn't dry well for making dry hay. For that I used a 479 NH 9' haybine. The transport process was a pain, you didn't do it for fun. These machines used a single wobble box running the 12' sickle, same as used on the 7 and 9' machines. This was the weak point in the machine, we had a number of wobble box failures, where the box was pretty much bullet proof on the smaller machines. The 12' Hydroswings ran a wobble box on each side with only 6' of sickle to solve the problem.
I didn't really have issues, I could see where it could cause some clumping. I didn't have an issue with the wobble box mounting when I first got it but I fixed that and didn't have any issues after that. I could see where over time you could since the sickle bar is longer.
Love all the videos! Still praying for your mom! I love watching the baling videos! Have baled hay my whole life with my dad! He left us in 2008 and it hasn’t been the same since!
Very helpful video! I wish that I had seen this video before I bought mine. I would have looked for something else now that I see what a pain it will be to get from one field to the next.

Thanks and glad I could help. Sorry you didn't see this before buying.
Man I was hoping to see that in action 🤦🏼♂️very cool video though
I understand why your getting rid of it.
I would too!
For how much I go field to field and the distance between them, I’d be tired of that after 3 fields
