    The Allen-Diggs combo worked, until it didn't. I think Diggs kind of psyched Josh out with his demands to always be targeted. Diggs really helped Josh develop, and I respect him for that. But he started to prevent Josh from reaching the next level. Josh has an array of targets now, with Dalton Kincaid ready to have an amazing year. I also expect Diggs to flourish in Houston. I respect how long-time Jet's fan, Rich Eisen, respects the Bills. This is now 100% Josh's team.

    Barring a major injury to JA, the Bills are winning the division again. Look at what happened after Joe Brady took over as OC last season. 1) they went 8-1 and 2) Diggs was an afterthought. The guys who thrived after Brady took over (Kincade, Shakir & Cook) are all still on the team. I get that (maybe?) Diggs still commanded a lot of the D's attention, but not to the degree that the skeptics think. This Bills team is going to be tough to beat.

And the winning formula we developed at that part of the season doesn't require a player like Stefon. I'm completely confident that were gonna win the division again. Tua so clearly doesn't have it in him to be the difference maker, the Jets will be imploding by Week 10 as always, and the Patriots are (finally) a non factor.

    I'm glad he at least opened with acknowledging the push back. Because Geno did play well in the clutch last season if we're going by comeback wins, even if that offense was a disappointment as a whole from the year prior. Really excited to see their new OC at work.

      Even Drew Lock got himself a game winning drive last year! Seattle has lots of good pieces but was definitely ready for the head coach change. Plus the offense should benefit from the defense not being among the worst in the league.

    • @Gungho73
      @Gungho73 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johnchedsey1306 Yeah I loved Pete and I think people didn't understand how much following the LOB era he was really keeping this team competitive when it had no right to be, but at the same time it was extremely frustrating for him to put together a gameplan against a real title competitor, winning it, and then playing like also-rans or down to the level of lesser teams. His defense last year had no excuse playing that poorly in my mind, as teams just gobbled up yards. I don't think the game had "passed him by" as a lot of others say, because the fact he kept winning showed he was plenty capable as a overall coach. But I think he was overdue to get some real fundamental changes to his defensive logic especially as the teams in his division all went offensive HC to seemingly counter his approach. I'm emotionally mixed as someone who really liked the guy. But incredibly excited to see a hot new DC at HC come in and also bring Frazier in to ease the transition to the position of top dog.
      Grubbs coming in and recognizing that they just weren't designing plays for their playmakers, but telling them to fit roles that didnt make sense in order to make the offense "correct" instead of work under Waldron, has me just as optimistic. This is a team that may not jump in the win column much, but could dramatically improve in the columns that help establish those wins.

    I’ll preface with my Dolphins fan bias but, it’s not just losing Diggs that’s gonna hurt the Bills this year. It’s all the guys they lost on the Defense. I have no doubt that Josh Allen will still be great, always liked him as a qb. I just feel like the Bills might be playing from behind more, and I don’t know if their new weapons can make up for what they lost

    Miami having worse odds than Buffalo is crazy talk? Are you insane? Miami couldn't win the division last year, have no pass rush, lost their best defensive line, and their best offensive lineman. As for the Jets... Old, declining QB coming off injury behind an old, injury prone line, hoping an injury prone WR2 stays healthy? Yea... no shot.
    Keep up with the track meet? They were as fast last year and in the two games the Bills outscored them 69 to 34.

    Im so exhausted with this notion that Diggs was the lynch pin in the Bills offense and now that he is gone things will crumble; the offense basically reinvented itself after Joe Brady took over and Diggs was slowly erased and now Allen doesnt have obsesse over thinking about how he has to force feed Diggs targets, lest he get angry with him. The whole vibe of the team is so much more postive and relaxed now, Allen included. No one has to walk on egg shells and Shakir and Kincaid look unreal, Kincaid barely lets the ball hit the ground, the dude catches everything thrown his way. The offense will be fine, and we will see if the defense can compliment that offense, but quit throwing dirt on the Bills.

    I mean kind of ignoring Green Bay threatening the Lions, a Healthy Burrow with Cinncy threatening the Ravens. Miami lead the East most of the year until they didn’t. I’d argue this could be Allen’s best year when he doesn’t have to funnel targets to Diggs who struggled for the back half of the year last year.

    100% a Bills fan
    Bills are not a lock - it's a tough division, and a lot of kids are gonna have to step up for us to remain a great team; we have to bring home more dubs in the division next season
    That said, *IF* we get back the Winter Soldier that was Josh Allen in Daboll's final season as OC and he tied the NFL record by throwing TD passes to 13 different players during the regular season? It might be over for y'all.....cuz the personalities are completely different, the offense seems to be embracing some form of McDermott's "nameless faces" mantra. Which I'm intrigued by, cuz that's a Buffalo vibe all day, and it may just work out well. Time will tell

  • @moose_tracks41
    @moose_tracks41 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Buffalo needs to trust its youth some more. Bernard didn’t play until he absolutely had to. Dorian W. - same story. Elam’s on the field every now and then and he’s got a track record of making opposing QBs pay for picking on him.
    The Chiefs play their young guns more earlier on in the season more so than a lot of teams, including the Bills. Come postseason, the added regular season reps Chiefs young players got pays off because they are more experienced in different in-game situations.
    When Brady said it’s Allen’s offense, that’s an incredible compliment and nod to Allen’s superb understanding of the offense and what the individual players are best at doing.
    The Bills will be more balanced on offense this season more than ever, and the offensive line is one of the most cohesive units Allen’s ever had.
    I’m most concerned about the defensive line. Oliver really broke out last year, but that was last year. 50, 91, and the boys gotta get pressure consistently and cause issues early on and the defense will be rolling fine.
    By week 9, the Bills receiving corps and the other parts that underwent a lot of change will be solidified.
    Injuries will happen. One of the ways to offset injuries is to play your depth pieces more in real games. Let the rookies and two year players get more valuable reps in the regular season so that when you make it to the postseason, it’s not all a big shock.
    Also, it’s Khalil Shakir (Kah-Leel Sha-Keer)

We all saw how good they could be &at least offensively the roster is better this year than it was last season. They don't have a true #1-wideout but they have three different #2-WRs and that's not including MVS or Chase Claypool (who's playing for his football life) Best tight-end-duo in the league &above average run game &the 2nd best QB in the NFL, personally I really like that team
