A few laborers/workers working outside my apartment in hot weather came to me asking for cold water or ice..... I took the biggest knife 🔪 🤣 (I have Mars in Aries in ascendant) and broke the freezer ....just to help them all get ice 🧊 and I don't know who possessed my body that I could hit the metal in the freezer to get all the gas leaking out of it....the condenser is gone ......no fridge in my house anymore .......💀

I’m Mars in Taurus and very much NOT the bull in the china shop, nor the tractor. I don’t break things. I’ve always identified with Ferdinand the bull. I can be blunt when passionate, but mostly I just want to lounge in the grass and smell the flowers. I’m also Venus ruled. Maybe that’s something.
The position of Venus and Mars can mitigate the expression quite a bit...but you are also loudly making the case that you are peaceful and lovely and not a tractor, which feels a little tractory...LOL jk 😉

Your grandfather sounds a lot like my step-grandfather (the only grandfather, on dad’s side, I ever knew). In addition to tending a four acre vegetable garden and some farm animals and bee hives, he was also a wild crafter and did folk medicine in his community in the southern Appalachians.

The China shop in that saying was literally a store that only sold fine ceramic dinner plates, bowls, serving platters, vases, etc. - usually made of the finest porcelain which came from China. The stores were usually fairly cramped with lots of glass display cabinets.
Anecdotal, but my older sister is a ♏️ rising w Mars in Taurus, + I’m a Taurus rising w a ♏️ Mars. My main bully growing up was my sister. She was relentless, + growing up, called me fat, a fat slob, unlovable, hideous, etc. She targeted my appearance basically. I’m not implying that that’s a feature of all Taurus mars, not at all, but I found it interesting. At 40yo, I believe she did that out of jealousy and insecurity. I took a very diff route in life, and from a young age, I felt strongly about standing up against other bullies. Whether someone was bullying my friends or someone I didn’t know on the bus. It really bothered me. In my humble opinion, I think having a strong mars gave me outlets, a healthy relationship to anger, and an eagle-eye vision into how others use anger and power. Today, I work in mediation and conflict resolution. I don’t think that’s true for everyone, but I think it’s interesting to see how a strong mars can be healthy and a mars in detriment might lead to some unhealthy behaviors. Idk! Just food for thought. I’m so used to hearing about strong mars people being aggressive and competitive, and in my experience I’ve seen more people with mars that aren’t strong being aggressive.
I have Mars in Taurus, growing up I was emotionally and physically bullied by my older brother and relentlessly at school for many years. My Mars is also combust the sun and in the 12th whole house, this has weakened and hidden my Mars. - even to myself- so defending and asserting myself has been a life long journey. The 12th house allowed everyone around me to not see what was happening to me. Mars in Scorpio feels to me like a Mars than can wait for the right time to take assertive action. Your strong Mars seems very healthy. Good for you.
I have Mars in Taurus and I’m stubbornly persistent 🤷♀️I am also Pluto in Libra generation so both in Venus’s domain. I hate violence, MMA makes me almost puke and I’ll leave a restaurant that’s displaying it. It’s a visceral bodily reaction and it overcomes me. Even my teen sons playing zombie killing video games…. My Mom had Mars in Taurus. She created the most beautiful flower gardens, yet she was often not a beautiful person. Controlling, bossy, bullying, and often mean. It was like she was putting all her love into her garden, and there was none left for anything/anyone else. This helps me understand her complexity a little more.

Oh wow and as we’re talking about bulls and tractors I’m reading about a rodeo bull that jumped the fence and sent people to the hospital on Saturday in Oregon. That seems very Mars in Taurus. Rodeo organizers say the people are all home from the hospital.

Yeah, whole sign aspects are the first and most basic form of the aspect, degree based makes it more intense, so yes that's still a square!

I had a beautiful day yesterday. In the morning, my YT page had plenty of YT Shorts about two powerhouse women: Sha'Carri Richardson and Simone Biles displaying some insane record-breaking athletics. Then I was stuck on a Short of a woman swinging gracefully on some chains, displaying amazing strength and still looking soft and angelic with her flowy outfit.
When it was time for me to workout, I didn't feel like doing my usual yoga practice. I felt the urge to just dance, so I decided on a dance workout which was the best decision. While working out, I got the notification that Mars had moved into Taurus, widely conjunct my natal Sun and still conjunct my Mercury Rx. Later in the day, I received a text message from my mom (whom I suspect is Taurus rising) and my father whom I haven't heard from in years. He used to manufacture jewelry when I was a child.
I've decided to stick to dance workouts for the rest of this transit and enjoy the dance between Mars and Venus, especially because I'm a Venus in Taurus.
I wonder, does this transit qualify as mutual reception between transit Mars and my natal Venus? 🤔

The Pluto side came up in courses where I immediately knew Pluto would associate with what’s termed in the courses as “reverse archai”. The name was altered in courses as the given name is confusing and seems to connect a divinity to ones that’s it’s not connecting it to. SFW version that I know is that musicians with a notable Pluto very very often work with intense noise/distortion where it’s hard to recognize the identity of the original sound. There’s also a similarity with that mythology and Morgoth from lord of the rings, morgoth as Pluto.
You have to take a sort of Book of Job perspective, you can even look at LoTR’s as an example. Ultimately it’s about moral choice and Pluto significations.. “this powerful higher being is behaving in this way I know is wrong but I have to follow as the higher being is the authority.” “This higher being has power I want to have for my own means..” “you can’t defeat this higher being as they can’t be destroyed so I better be on the winning side..” it’s also linked to nuclear weapons. So the style of music I like began post WW2 that uses that archetype antithetically, but it still finds its manifestation in its destructive form. Morgoth is the fitting name, the NSFW destructive variation is found in goth/punk/industrial clubs as that style of music completely lost its meaning. Transformation comes from the struggle.
For me, with this transit.. despite my earlier objections, I’m starting to incorporate some of the techniques seeing it as potential positive having mars in detriment natal. Libra, not Taurus. But, yeah, Pluto and reverse archai. If you destroy the humanity or dehumanize, it can used to justify destroying an individual or group. And promote self destructive behavior of others for personal benefit. That’s isolated, it’s ultimately a tension for development so you get the modern signification. If it wasn’t for Morgoth and Sauron Aragon would be crying like an emo in the woods his whole life while the world bickered out of boredom. 😆
One thing I like about this Zoroastrian system is it says there are only 12 great spiritual teachers and they can only manifest by which signs are visible on the ecliptic. One is always visible and we all know which one that is. I think it’s 7-5 but it may be 5-7. One always stands alone. In the mass media world, that’s a great rule of thumb when dealing with subjects.

I have Mars in Taurus also - combust the Sun and in the 12th whole house - growing up I was very clumsy and the term "bull in a china shop" was used for me. I would knock and bruise myself a lot. After listening to your description of Mars' behaviour in Taurus I am perhaps understanding how much the combustion and 12th house softens the Mars energy in me. I have spent most of my almost 60 years learning to assert myself and defend my needs. While growing up I was physically and emotionally abused by my brother and bullied for many years at school. All ignored by the adults around me. My Venus is exalted in Pisces and so perhaps that helps soften the presentation of my mars. I certainly feel a strong connection to my Venus energies. When I was young I could also be blunt and rude, if really pushed. That was about as direct as my Mars would get. The passage of time and life experience does certainly help if one is conscious to grow. I am joining Nightlight 28 First year programme. Hmmmm - I have Mars in Taurus in the 12th… part of a grand fixed cross, that’s connected to 2 Grand water trines via Saturn… Perseverance, massive change and huge appreciation of arts and beauty, plants and animals. Big changes turn everything over and lead to very positive results. It’s not always easy lol!
I’m a taurus rising with mars conjunct my rising squaring my natal venus in my 4 house and yes you hit it on the nail. mars square pluto is determination, power hunger , ruthless and goes by "the means justify the ends". I had a friend with pluto in scorpio square mars in Leo and she thinks she's the queen, so open about it that she claims what she wants even if she has to step all over people.. she doesn't feel bad about it because she's very determined and obsessed with her goals. And she doesn't show other narcissistic traits, so i know it's because of this aspect the influence haha
