Chris if you took and drilled and taped the operator side of the cleanup bucket and took a piece of flat bar you could set the receiver on the bucket and not worry about the arm angle.I did that on my mini ex works great

Chris, as soon as you roto till that ground it's going to fluff all up and you will end up with another 6-12 inches of ground. The excavator pressed that stuff in pretty hard. Don't think there will be any issuse especially once you get the "tent" over it. Damn, sure am envious. I'm using a mantis tiller for my garden plot. Those who say your equipment is overkill haven't stood behind a mantis to till that size plot. Lookin good! (as always).

When grading like that (not taking full scoops out and such), was wondering if it would work well to put your grade sensor on the side of the bucket, as high as you can, then as long as the bottom of the bucket is flat, you would get an accurate reading, it wouldn't matter if the stick is at 90 deg. or way out. Wouldn't work if you were taking big scoops or digging down in a hole but for this type of pad work... Could even stay on if your digging out of piles of dirt, as long as you keep that side of the bucket out of the pile

With Spectra setups, if laser is "red", yes. If you use "green", no. I upgraded last year to a green setup, with a mag receiver, and machine receiver only worked with red lasers. So, returned green and went to red laser (HV302) and love the setup. I built up a pad, almost 3' for my own greenhouse/Ret walls and got to within 1" w/o having to get on/off to continually check grade with stick. I am learning how to let machine do all the work instead of with hand tools.
