I just bought the six inch one to put on my 05 avalanche 1500. Leaving the rest of exhaust stock but removing factory muffler and replace it with the black widow. I'm also leaving the cats on. Will it still be loud?

It won't be super loud with all of the other stock exhaust parts on it, but yes you will definately still hear it, especially the cold starts. It has a nice rumble, and good acceleration noise obviously way better than stock. I remote start my truck all the time from inside the house and I can hear it in the furthest room from the truck.

@Dustin W. Yeah, that sounds like a good plan.
As far as interior noise, I've seen somewhere that someone had made the comment that if you have bed liner (Line-X), it will suppress the noise of the exhaust heard in the cab. My truck does not have bed liner, at least at the moment, so I can't really speak to that.
I've had it on now for a couple of years now, and I love it. I think you'll enjoy it.

remove the cats and they will be alot louder and with it being a stock truck as well makes a big difference. black widow had a goal for no drone so the muffler is doing a good job.

Been thinking the same thing. I think straights with an h would still be the best. These sound a lot like magnaflow Flowmaster hybrids with a bit of both...mehhh

Here's a secret, you could of gotten more out of a Flowmaster Outlaw, Carven R, Magnaflow Magnapacks, or a Borla XR1.
