    I’ve done endless stuff like this over 2 decades and nothing will release my back which is stuck in hyper extension all the way up. My back will not flatten into the floor at all and it pulls my sacrum up as well. Any ideas?

      It's hard to say without knowing more about your situation but what I sense is that your body is probably protecting from a traumatic event, i.e., fall, car accident, or overuse situation. In which case, it's not something a short little lesson like this may access without gentle and consistent trust to find your skeletal support again. Sacral injuries from my experience require very gentle shifting for the entire spine and entire body to align and move fluidly again. Feldenkrais is a gentle approach. Cranio-sacral therapy can help, too but without gentle movement alignment like Feldenkrais, the protective wisdom that your body has is holding your back this way to prevent further pain/vulnerability/instability. There's other modalities out there that help as well that are neuro/functionally based like Feldenrkais. I'd recommend working with a private practitioner who is gentle, a good listener, intuitively responsive and knowledgeable. I have many, many lessons on my Patreon site, including my Feldenkrais audio CD series for the low back (also on iTunes and Amazon) but a hands-on practitioner is so helpful for support in this. And keep looking for what helps!
