Here's another Tip: When I get a new embossing folder I figure out the sandwich then I add a label to the front. Example: "Tab 1, one plate, one CS shim", or "Tab 1, St Up Blue Plate, 2 shims", etc. This way I only have to fiddle with the sandwich once & it saves a lot of time. Love your cards today and thank you for all the great tips, especially for the envelope flaps & the acetate!!
What a treat! Jennifer (the GOAT) McGuire doing a comprehensive, in depth, clear and inspiring lesson in paper arts. Thank you SO much, Jennifer and Simon. Loved it!!
Yes I add labels also to the folder for instructions. No need to reinvent the wheel. And your first video with this snowflake embossing folder did indeed inspire my purchase of it! That detail!
So many wonderful ideas! Thanks Jennifer and Simon Says Stamp. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷 I really appreciate the gorgeous inspiration and amazing techniques. Wishing everyone a happy crafty day. 😊
Watching this again & learned another tip I thought I'd share. Instead of spritzing with water, spritz with alcohol. It dries almost instantly so you don't have to wait. With water it takes a while to completely dry, or you have to dry it with a heat gun. Love this video as much this time as the first time I watched it!
It’s always a fabulous day when Jennifer McGuire shares her great tips and ideas for card crafting and FIVE different cards at that!🩵What a way to start the day! Thank you SSS!❤️
Totally awesome ideas. I long to play with paper, I just haven't had time with friends and Family coming to visit tonight from Ireland. Our card drive is over for 2023 so I'll be making those those for next year. Great fun ideas to play with . Thanks so much Jennifer for the ideas
These cards are stunners! I am in awe of the snowflake cards with the Tim Holtz metallic paper cannot wait to get home and try that out. @JenniferMcGuireInk and @SimonSaysStamp you made my day!
Jennifer, I appreciate your tips on the EF sandwich. I’ve saved up my pennies and want to get the platinum. Are you affiliated with Spellbinders? All the cards are beautiful
This technique is one that I did when I first started in cardmaking. The paper was Core paper in which I purchased at the Stampscrape show. Amazing, the old techniques are coming back out again!
Great techniques. I love how the brayer technique with white ink actually brought the embossed images forward and the stenciled images went to the background. ❤
Thank you, Simon Says Stamps, for doing the 5 way in 5 days series. Always so educational and inspirational. Thank you so much for all the tips/techniques using embossing folders Jennifer. Your cards are so so pretty! I love your creative brain😂👌

What great ideas for using embossing folders. I've purchased so many of them and never seem to use them. This gives me the incentive to do so. Thanks so much.
