This sparring was litterally Saitama at 1% sure Genos has gotten A LOT stronger but still in his current state in the manga would get completely obliterated by a normal punch. It would be like putting a 5 year old up against the ufc heavyweight champion no point

The key thing about what Genos said... "I can't picture myself with master's power" gives an idea of what Saitama is. Genos is strong, and most of the enemies he faced are overlypowered strong which made him look weak.
If you think about it, it's a good thing that Saitama didn't join the Hero Association until 3 years after it was founded. Based on the people that already joined, such as Tatsumaki and Bang, Genos is seen as an awe-inspiring, powerful hero worthy of S Rank. If Saitama was the first hero, then Genos wouldn't even get B rank in comparison to him. By Saitama not being the hero upon which all other heroes are judged, the other heroes can be given a chance. The annoying troll in the Sea King arc was basically right: if a single super-strong hero exists, then what's the point of the other heroes who are basically normal humans?
@@WisteriaDrake The Hero Association didn't work like that, they didn't compare how strong a hero is to give them the ranks. Or basically all the heroes compared to "Blast" will get a low rank, the system they use is "meritocracy" which means the one who did most get rewarded according on how much they did to fulfill the Association requests. The hero association didn't need the "test" to get heroes per example the assignment to Genos to S class, basically they give him the rank they think will fit on his performances.
The rank systems depends on the own heroes, if everyone wanted to get to S class... all will be S class, cause that depends on the number 1 of the rank... there is no more S class cause Amai mask dislike the idea of having a lot of them... and so on. no more A class cause Fubiki dislike the idea of that. The rank system and their organization at the end didn't mean anything. Saitama proves that on that episode. But I guess you shouldn't make spoilers of an episode they supposed didn't watched yet.
The pointless guy who said that about the heroes didn't consider one important thing... there is one Tatsumaki, there is only one Saitama... if you put the whole world security on two shoulders... the world will end... you know, even for Tatsumaki control an entire "world" will not be enough... protect the entire population... there is around 500 heroes... and most of them are C and B ranks. And what they tried atleass is mitygate the damages.
@@WisteriaDrake If you put Saitama and the recods, and whole performance of course Saitama is the number 1 S class hero, he said that... he didn't know a hero who did as much as him. But it isn't related to how strong Saitama is, what he did as hero.
