how do I find the Director's Cut?
@@lindatheisen863 Linda, the only way I know you can see it is to buy the DVD which includes both the theatrical and Tom Hanks' Director's Cut. Just make sure it specifically says that it's included if you're buying it say from Amazon.
Once I saw the DC, the theatrical version, while still a great film, just screams for those bits that were cut for time. Good luck, you should find it pretty easily on Amazon.

@@1060michaelg thanks--I did look it up...I've shown this movie to my choir classes for several years now. It's a favorite-and I don't get tired of it. I probably won't show the director's cut--as I keep things very family friendly...

There's nothing TOO bawdy but that is such a subjective thing I suppose when in a position like yours one must err on the side of caution. Tom Everett Scott....gorgeous and the spitting image of my first husband. Kind of blew me away when I saw him. So there's another 50 year old version of Tom out there (whose Dad's name is Tom). Strange but true!

as Tom it was an incredibly refreshing change of pace, sure it wasn't a top ten grosser but still a good film. I can always when I had a small guitar and tried 2 be like Jimmy but I really sucked at playing my guitar.

One thing I like about this movie is how each character resembles the personality of a Beatle. Their positions on each instrument are switched but Jimmy is Lennon, Guy is McCartney, Lenny is Ringo and T.B. Player is George. Very clever whether it was intended that way or not.

Call me crazy, but I think Tom would make a good live action Ted Kord in the DCEU and not because Booster Gold teamed up with him once in an episode of Batman The Brave and The Bold either. Okay that’s not true. That is partially the reason.

Hmmm what ever happened to Tom E. Scott?
He's still active as an actor. For a while, he was the voice of Booster Gold on Batman The Brave and The Bold in a few recurring roles, one of which he first introduces himself to Batman, his other appearances involved teaming up with B'wana Beast, Captain Marvel, and Firestorm, teaming up with Batman to foil Krull the Eternal's plan to revive a rock, and of course teaming up with Batman and the Future Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) to stop the Madniks. Booster Gold had a few recurring roles as a member of the Justice League of America.
I didn't know this actor (Tom Everett Scott), until I watched this movie on a closed movie channel, via cable...I loved the movie, another brilliant cinematic product from an idol in the middle, Tom, Hanks,...then I watched it also "An American Werewolf in Paris" and I also liked it a lot...result? I have both in my current private collection...and of course, more movies by the great Tom Hanks..
Tom Hanks, a great catchy song , and THE Liv Tyler. Read these three combined create my most favorite movie of all-time.
