Yeah, really enjoyed the area with the pools and the snake fountain. Lovely place! :)

The black vehicle is an rickshaws similar to Thia tuktuk but more sturdy. They run on CNG now. It looks new. Normally the drivers side, the front, does jot have that flap. Its there on the passengers side only, mostly to keep the rain out. Its freezing in the winter!
As for the maroon car, that looks like an old model of Hindustan Motors (HM) Ambassador. An updated version is stil used in india. They are smooth, comfortable and sturdy for the passengers but tough to drive

@@AdamExploresBritain I am Indian and live in India. I love riding auto rickshaws. It's monsoon right now so the side flaps are there. They remove them in the summer. Lol. When I was kid we used that HM ambassador. A cousin of mine still has one but they are considered outdated and only government officials use them now.

@@chandrachauhan4068 Your written English is excellent. Better than a lot of English people. I shall remember your info about the flaps on the tuktuk's and hopefully I'll be able to use that fact somewhere in the future. Kind regards, Adam :)

@@chandrachauhan4068 I appreciate how intellectual Indians can be. Your people have made a good impression in England (and the rest of the UK). Generally very hard working and have made the best of their opportunities and now do some of the most important roles such as doctors and surgeons. Our country has been enriched by people who have come from your country and they in turn have been able to enjoy what our country can offer in return. I hope you enjoy some of my other videos. Many thanks, Adam :)

What an exciting change from the Western Classical architecture that was popular when it was built! The Indian influenced design and decoration on both the house and in the garden are impactful and tasteful. I love the blue glazed ornaments and bulls on the bridge. The snake pool is amazing. So different. Thank you for going slowly and including a bit of the history. Kudos to the folks who restored it after WWII. So many old estates have been left to ruin. Though I'm in the U.S., I never mind paying a bit more to visit such a place and contribute to the maintenance. Whatever the history of the original owners, the best legacy is that the place is now open to all, to visit and enjoy. :)

This Mansion was built by Cockerell brothers who served in British east india company in 19th century. Interestingly the artifacts you see in the mansion are exported from India.
Suprisingly the masnion was designed by Cockerell brother Samuel Pepsy who never been to india, unlike his other two brothers

Most enjoyable relaxed tour of a fascinating estate steeped in Vedic Culture, Nandi, the Bull is first to receive oblations ( Offerings - Devotion before Shiva, the only god who defers to his guardian animal before oblations are made to him. The 3 1/2 times coiled Snake on the tree trunk represents the coiled Kundalina rested at the base of the Human spine, Shiva has the Snake God Vasuki draped round his neck his devotee who remains immortal if he stays there, his consort Parvati is Shakti All that appears is her Realm, Shiva = Consciousness, Shakti = Activity, Humanity, Nature, it's her gig She is the One dancing, the fine male sculpture in the niche is much later and does not represent Shiva more like the Dionysious supposedly ancient Greek who is a recent copy of Shiva pretending to be ancient as Dio has also a Bull and a Snake copied from the Vedic Tradition and Not the other way round, the Jesuits were very busy writing fake copies of the knowledge these Spiritual communities had evolved dated them to the "ancient" past and sold copies of the lost works of this and that in the 17th 18th c.
When really this Vedic Tradition flourished over the past 1000 years interacting with public not a secret for the monks and nuns, devotees, followers, disciples, but interacting this way having established the order required to do this. went on a bit but great chilled watching. Peace .......

HM stands for Hindustan Motors an Indian automotive manufacturing company that dominated the country before car market was open for foreign companies in the 80s.
