I have this brush and honestly it’s uhmazing. I used to swear by finger detangling but honestly since buying this, it’s a game changer. All the 4c you tubers are so anti using tools like combs and brushes. I was too but if it works, IT WORKS! Made me realise how much shed hair was being left behind. My twist outs were always frizzy until this. I obviously wasn’t getting all the shed hair. I have now the definition of my curls is great. It’s lovely but you have to use small section I normally do 6 all over my head, patience is key and work end to root on the hair shaft then root to end just to make sure everything (shed hair and tangles) are out. Amazing! Once your hair is detangled it literally feels like butter. I normally do it in the shower with shea moisture manuka honey intensive conditioner.
im doing a long term transition (currently 11.5 months in) and i don't think i would have been able to make it this far without this brush it is truly a gift from God

Yuuup sis I knew you would love it! Its bomb period this is the best version of the brush because of the larger surface area and the handle! I just wish the handle had some kind of silicone grip so when I use it in the shower it's not so slippery. Other than that its GOLDEN!! Especially for my kinky high Density hair like yours!

I have 4b/4c medium density fine hair and this brush is IT!👌🏾 I use it vertically first starting at the ends and work my way up to my roots until completely detangled then I run it thru horizontally for that last smooth brush through! I was using the denman brush and it was just ripping my hair out!

You are so correct, the handle makes it a lot easier. I have a tangle teaser without the handle and I literally stopped using it because he kept slipping out of my hand.

I'm about to have this delivered now. as a multicultural woman it's a pain in the butt to have to deal with my long curly nappy hair. I'm always struggling with detangling my hair. I CANT WAIT to try this.
I first was sceptical about this as I thought it would rip out my hair (I have the wet detangler one) but actually omg this is a god send for me personally......it helps so much! I first use a wide tooth comb before using this to get my hair properly detangled. It has such a nice grip as well! Glad i bought it! Made me realise how much shedding was left behind! No wonder I was still struggling with tangled ends lol

@@Chin715 so I did get the tangle teezer and tried it. It was great but the bristles started bending after 2 uses so I knew it wouldnt last so I returned it. Funny thing is our hair is so different so who knows it might work for you, might have to try it first to rule it oute😊
Ur one of the people that used it correctly by using it with your hair wet and having product on it . Others use it dry or damp hair and have drying product on it
Great! Ye i gues it glides because the bristles are not very strong they kind of lie down when they arrive at a knot so they dont tug the hair. Lol i just got mine in the post haven't used it yet but amping myself up with revieews 😊😊😊😊😊 I CANNOT WAIT TO USE THIS!!! YAAAAY!
This is such a great timed video because I just ordered the Phillips Flexx Brush that you recommenced (the dupe one from house of beauty) since you and MadCurls recommenced it. How do you feel about this brush in comparison to the Curl Keeper/Phillips Flex Brush (the real one)?
I have the regular one. It's also great. However, if your hair is long (past your shoulders) get the large. With the large head you'll be done detangling quicker. My hair is short 2A-3C and very fine and the regular is doing great. When my hair gets longer about a year from now I'll upgrade to a large.
I'm glad you tried this and now I cam try. My hair is very dense a s coarse so that tangle one you hold in your palm is a joke for me. I can't use it. This one look sturdy and firm. Thank you loveeeeeeeee

Ok so I had to come back here. I got this brush and you were right it's awesome BUT, I used it once and the 2nd time I saw the bristles were bending. With the original it took a while for the tips to be messed up. And I hated to keep it but be done in a few mths so I returned it. Maybe if I get a really good deal or very cheap I might repurchase. In other news I got the felicia brush with my melanin order and boy oh boy I LOVE it. Used it only once but will be trying it on both my girls so will see if I feel the same still

I have a wet brush and a regular sized tangle teezer with a handle. The wet brush is ok but the tangle teezer seriously detangles. The wet brush is like detangling with a wide tooth comb while the tangle teezer is like using a fine tooth comb that doesn't snag hair and fully detangles every hair.
I am going to look for a promo code or something and see if I can get my hands on this. If it works on your hair, I am hopeful it will work for my thick hair too. Thanks so much.

Try the denman from sallybeauty. Its $15.99 compared to $18+ on the denman website. I have both the denman and felicia leatherwood. I used to like the felicia brush until I realized it was taking my hair out more. It would take me so long to detangle compared to finger detangling. It was like I was fighting my kinks with this brush by trying to make it work. I was tired of the hair loss and bought the denman thanks to Kandid kinks. I fell in love with this brush! I bought the 7 row brush. You can modify the brush too ( I had to look up utube vids on how to remove the rubber parts. Note to run the brush under warm water and get a rat tail comb to pull and push up the base). This brush is a breeze compared to the felicia brush. If it doesn't work for you keep trying to modify the brush.
I have both the tangle teezer and the Felicia Leatherwood. I wanted to like the Felicia so bad but it just felt like it was pulling my hair. The tangle teezer is so good for my hair, like I never experience any snagging with it; however since the bristles are so short I sometimes go back in with my Felcia after detangling with the tangle teezer just to make sure I got my roots. I would definitely get the tangle teezer.

If u have E 6000 or a hot glue gun and make some waves on the handle. Make the waves in different directions for a better grip
Maybe wrap thick rubber bands around the handle.
