I only know the Prelude from an upload (Thomas Dausgaard) on this channel a few years ago, so it's an unexpected treat to hear a fuller selection from "Sir Oluf He Rides" (although the title makes me smile and I start thinking of Monty Python and the Holy Grail!). It's wonderful to listen to Nielsen's always-entertaining, well-crafted incidental music and this one's no exception. It's also a pleasure to hear the not-so-familiar works of established great composers. Thanks!

Yay! a Nielsen I have never heard before!
