How to download and use:
1. Download it from here: github.com/Tho... (Steam or GOG depending on where you bought the game)
2. Unpack the .zip file to anywhere
3. Run LunkyBoxInjector.exe
4. Open Spelunky
LunkyBox is a menu mod/hack for Spelunky. It was meant to be just an object spawner, but I decided to add more features. It uses dll injection and comes with an injector that is made for it, all you have to do is run LunkyBoxInjector.exe.
Features:
Player: Modify values like hearts, bombs, ropes, gold and items
Object spawner: Has over 200 working objects, organized in categories
Teleporting: Teleport the player to anywhere
Time: Modify or Freeze the stage time and total time
Sound player: Play all 230 .wav files in Spelunky
I don't want people to use this for cheating on the leaderboards, so I made it disable the Daily Challenge while the mod is activate.
Controls is F5 to open menu, numpad 8 4 6 2 for up, left, right, down, numpad 5 to select and numpad 0 to go back. This can be changed in the config file.
Known bugs:
Changing screen resolution after opening menu might Crash the game
If any of the player infinite options is on when going into the Yama level, the game will Crash. Turn them off before going into the level, you can turn them on Again after the Yama cutscene is over
In the GOG version, you might have to start Spelunky twice before the menu shows up
If LunkyBox is for some reason not working, here is some things you can try:
Run LunkyBoxInjector.exe as administrator
Restart Spelunky a few times
Download Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015: www.microsoft....
Reinstall Spelunky
Make sure you are not using a pirated version of Spelunky - เกม

I have been looking for a good cheat mod for Spelunky HD for a while. This is more than I asked for. It's even better than Spelunky invincible. (An old mod for Spelunky classic) I LOVE THIS MOD!!!! Thanks a ton for a good fun Spelunky HD cheat mod.
The mod works perfectly. That is, if it actually injects.
Opening the injector, then playing Spelunky will give the error 'Access is denied 0x5'. This will happen almost always.
Running it in offline mode makes no difference.
Opening Spelunky first will make the injector say that I need to restart Spelunky. Doing that then gives the same error.
It's possible to open Spelunky, then the injector, then get Task Manager and close Spelunky, then very quickly press Play. This works only sometimes though, and it has gotten less effective for whatever reason.
Opening just Spelunky without the injector works.
No other game is affected.
Opening the injector with administrator makes no difference.
Opening Spelunky with administrator will make the injector fail to inject, saying that you can press enter to retry, which then says that you need to restart Spelunky.
Running the injector normally for the first few times did nothing. It didn't recognize Spelunky at all, but now it does.
The mod does work fine though when it does inject. There are no problems with interacting with the menu or the menu not being visible. However, it always crashes at Yama, regardless of whether or not you disable infinite options. This is especially infuriating when the injector doesn't work most of the time.
The version of Spelunky isn't pirated, by the way.
Any options to help with this issue?

@@geraldpoppins836 you have the same problem as him? try moving your spelunky folder around or reinstalling the mod
I inject succefully de lunky.dll but I press F5 and nothing happends.
It may be because I’m using the steam version, but it crashes when spelunky is open (spelunky, not the injector). Should I buy the GOG version?
I tried everything in the description, but none of them worked. My problem is that I CAN interact with the menu, but it's just not visible. I have the Steam version of Spelunky. Also, do I need to put the source code files somewhere? I don't even know what they are for.
What do I change in the config? I dont know coding and was wondering what to change
Hi Thomas! Thanks for the video, but i can not seem to get the menu working. The injector says that everything is done and i can close the injector. I tried to open the menu with F5, but nothing happens. I changed the opening to numpad9 but that also seems to do nothing. Before i was using cheat engine, but i was not impressed by it. Any help will be helpful.

i have no problems with this mod whatsoever, but when i get to yama, my game crashes.

you need to fix the bug when the mod makes my game crash on steam version 1.3 when I get to king Yama's throne
ts because you have infinite things enabeled you need to turn them off before entering the level whe the cutscene is over you can enable them again

How to interact with the menu?
Use your number pad (should come with arrows marked them)
If not, 2 4 6 8 goes as followed down left right up and 5 as confirm

doesnt even work, constantly says it has "failed"
When I open the menu it makes a sound but it just flashes on the side of my screen and I cannot navigate it or select anything.
i gave the link to microsoft keys, if ur having trouble, they keys are 2 (down) 8 (up) 4 (left) 6 (right) 5 (select) 7 (back), i have to update this tutorial, those are the keys on ur numpad, use a pc keyboard for it, there is a config settings that lets you rebind them as well

You have to use numpad 8 4 6 2 for up, left, right, down, numpad 5 to select and numpad 0 to go back navigate the menu.
If you don't have a keyboard with numpad you will have to change the config.txt to use different keys. Here is a configuration for keyboards without numpad:
input_toggle_menu=0x74
input_select=0x55
input_back=0x4D
input_up=0x49
input_down=0x4B
input_left=0x4A
input_right=0x4C
It uses IJKL for up, left, down, right, U to select and M to go back.

This mode is amazing!
I can't find the helper/slaves the game spawns in the shops.
Would be good to have invulnerability, one hit kill, reset shopkeeper agro.
Level select menu would be good. The option to spawn players.
Something else like modify enemy size, speeds, explotion sizes.

why I cannot use in the pirated version of the game?
Whenever I have the injector open, the steam version of spelunky won't open and display this message: An error occurred while updating Spelunky. (unknown error)
I never seen that happen before. Try launch Steam in offline mode, it might prevent Spelunky from updating. If that doesn't work, reinstalling Spelunky might work.
Tried that and it didn't work. Any other solutions you can think of?
Hmmm... Hi... Well, it happens to me like another guy with a certain comment, when I press F5 it does not happen at all, even when it says that the mod was totally injected ... Is it because I have a pirated version? Maybe that's it. If you can answer my comment I would appreciate it a lot.
Yes, it's most likely because you have a pirated version. I have only tested it with the Steam and GOG version of Spelunky.

If you are on the GOG version you might have to start Spelunky twice

I did not really think about coop when I made this, but that is a good idea. I probably won't make it because it would take a lot of time to do.
Ok guys if you can't select stuff then rebind your keys to keyboard keys instead of numpad cuz numpad don't work

find lunkybox 1.3 then open it, then open config.txt remove the first sentence (DON'T DELETE THE LAST SENTENCE) then replace the first text with input_toggle_menu=0x74

Spelunky had a update so the mod isnt used to this version so it doesnt work

@@rkl28879 i got it to work by right clicking the game in steam and clicking properties then went to beta's and clicked version1_4 not sure if this will work for you but it did for me

i have it downloaded but it still doesn't work. i have the steam version, it says "fully injected", i start the injector before the game, i enter the caves, i press f5 but nothing happens. it doesnt make a noise or pop up any interface
Some people seem to have problems getting LunkyBox to work, so I added a few things you can try to the bottom of the description of this video.
I will just paste it here too:
- Run LunkyBoxInjector.exe as administrator
- Restart Spelunky a few times
- Download Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015: www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...
- Reinstall Spelunky

I just tried to reach Yama myself and it does seem to crash every time. I'm not sure why it happens but I figured out how to prevent it. Before you go into the Yama level, turn all the player infinite options off (Infinite Hearts, Infinite Bombs, Infinite Ropes, etc). You can turn them back on once the Yama cutscene is over.

Make sure you have the right version of LunkyBox, if you have Spelunky on Steam, use the Steam LunkyBox download

I assume you are saying it isn't fun because it makes the game too easy, and I agree with that. I made this because it can be fun to just mess around in games, like a sandbox game. It can also be used to practice doing specific things, like using the teleporter efficiently

It's not a virus. Somtimes anti viruses are a bit too sensitive and give false positives. I provided the source code in the description, so if there was a virus someone would have found it by looking at the code
