Fun fact: this film wasn't supposed to be family friendly, the film was supposed to be similar to the movies of Ralph Bakshi and be R rated.
Put blame on WB for forcing the guys to change it into a family movie that somehow might still retain some grown-up tones and references, kinda like what happened with Scooby-Doo (2002) in which that film was supposed to be a grown-up satirical take on the franchise like how The Brady Bunch Movie and its sequel did it.
Let’s be real here, who the hell was going to take a film starring Rodney Dangerfield’s fursona seriously?
