The greatest thing about HTS for me is that groovy/funky quality in their songs mixed with the heaviness and progressive post hardcore sound. It's super unique and infectious. I can't get enough of it. They are musical gods IMO.

This is one of those bands that are an untapped river of gold for full album reactions. Every album is 🔥 When I first heard them, I thought that it was too original and too good to be true. It had to be a one-hit bamboozle. Too many bands have that one/two song bait track that reel you in and the rest of the album doesn't come close. But then I watched the Mental Knife video. "Wait- the singer is also the drummer? Both at once?" It's not even fair to other bands how good HTS is. Swancore in general seems like something too good to be true with how music generally sounds these days.
1109 is another great song of theirs... BTW their singer is also their drummer (they have a touring drummer now for a lot of their songs but they still do some stuff live with their singer playing drums).
I'm not sure if he's still the head drummer but the lead singer Donovan Melero is/was their drummer as well. They've got some videos live where he's playing drums and singing, it's flippin' amazing.
Than... how did I *never* hear about this band before? Ah well, at least you kicking yourself prevented me from kicking myself years further down the road ;)

Hail the Sun is if like the OG Saosin lineup with Anthony Green went swancore. I can't unhear it, but it is good so I'm not complaining.

Heck yeaaaah!! These guys are so damn good. One of my all time favorite bands. Made Your Mark is another incredible song by them as well.
