Great vid. I'm just jumping into 3D printing and have been looking at Bambu A1. This was a perfect intro into what ya get when you get one of these bad boys. SUB'D
I've got a K1 max for a month now and I've had some problems with the hot end and just haven't been able to use it for about a week now so i decided to buy this printer and hopefully i will have better luck with the Bambu A1.
@AdamsReviews I just got done packing my k1 max up in its box. They said they will send out a return label for me so I hope this works out for me I'm super stocked about the a1. I will miss the high speed and the 300* on the k1 max but there's a lot more positives than that on the a1.
I just recently watched your unboxing video and had the same issue of the power cord missing! Does any desktop power cord just suffice for the power source??
Wow Do you see the color change from the spool to the printed benchy, The Benchy looks like the color is white-washed. What's that about. Why did the color change so much after printing.
i dont want to ruin it or anything but i have gotten the exact same printer for christmas and it was good in the first days until random problems started appearing and its a huge pain
Great video !! I have Neptune 3 pro, I sell product online and it takes around 35 hours to print one product (multiple parts) I'm looking for a printer to accelerate the print with great quality. This printer looks amazing. I work near my neptune 3 pro the noise does not bother. Question: Is the Bambu Lab A1 noisy compared to Elegoo Neptune 3?
No power cord! That sucks. Mine had everything - including power cord. Wouldn’t have been an issue, though. Been into computers over 20 years. So, I have an abundance of power cords.
I just ordered my very first 3d printer tonight, just about 5 minutes ago. So excited! Ordered the Bambu A1 AMS Lite combo, and got a good selectin of colors of the PLA Basic and PLA Matte filament rolls (8 rolls total) I was careful to select at least 4 rolls in the reusable spool and the other 4 rolls were as refill, to conserve on cost. Eventually i want to try PETG-CF and also TPU, but I'm going to learn the ropes first by using simple PLA. I'll also need to invest in a good dryer if I'm going to be using PETG and TPU. I'm so excited. I need to get my wooden shop desk out of storage, else i won't have a place to set this on 😂. I've been wanting a 3d printer since about 2012 and now I'm finally getting one 🥲🤧☺️
This printer really hits a price point while being more feature rich than some printers costing twice as much. I'm considering selling my MK3 and getting one of these.
Bambulabs Canada recently shipped a known defective A1 with a recall notice on powerup on the LCD. They have not contacted the customer and have not informed the government that the unit could cause a fire and possible electrocution since February. The unit was delivered close to the Burnaby depot and they could have easily shipped a working unit and a tech to make it right. Drive time is now 28 minutes. Avoid this shoddy company. I have unopened X1C and P1P and an A1 Mini. Perhaps I will return them tomorrow if nothing is resolved.
Here they are on makerworld = makerworld.com/en/models/92486#profileId-99168

You did. its great
Awesome, mines coming on the 27th, super excited!

Does it know how much filament is left on the roll?
Do you have a link to the wall mounted table?

You will for sure. Iver heard alot of bad things about the k1 max. I have a Qidi X max 3 and I am gonna sell it for another bambu.

How does the filament get into the extruder???

What if I use sunlu filament? How does it know the temp to print? What bout flow and retraction? Ty
So excited about mine on the way, two more days!! Dumping my silly old Ender 3.

@adamsreviews - is there a Benchy file that will print using PETG filament? I was gifted an A1 and a spool of PETG & would love to print a Benchy…
Are you going to review the roomba combo j9+
Anyway to print offline? Not connecting to wifi and local files. Seems invasive if i cant print without it being online and through an app
Micro sd card like every other printer ever made
What products do you sell on Etsy?
right now stuff for a car....some stuff locally like light boxes
I’m so torn because I have an a1 mini coming for Christmas and I have some money do you think buy an a1, p1s or wait for p2s
If you just want to print with basic materials like pla and petg then I would say the a1...if u need abs or other materials u would need the others.
@@AdamsReviews This thing can print all those materials using the other nozzles, though it may not be as good as the enclosed / x-y machines.
@@cameron_boweidk the print bed doesn’t get very hot for other materials
Where did you learn to design, and what software do you use?
Mainly from youtube. fusion 360 and tinkercad
I just got a Creality Ender 3 3D printer for Christmas. Love it.

How does the AMS compare to the MMU2/3?
Havent used that.
I love my A1 mini and X1C

Aren't you concerned about the linear rail scratching noises?

You made an awesome choice. I just got into this about six months ago and right now is the best time with all the technology that bambu lab offers.
I'm upgrading from a CR-10 I got back in 2017. Can't wait to see what almost 6 years of advancement looks like in person
@@mikechu01 will blow that out of the water, congrats
@@mikechu01 Same here. CR-10 is great, but it's very dated at this point. I'd hate to let it collect dust.
Brother do you want to sell it ???
very good vid!
Hi, thanks for this review. Four test prints would be nice: 1. PETG benchy 2. ASA benchy 4. TPU benchy 4. Test of a print with extra support filament.
great video. Video quality wasn't the best Like its over zoomed and grainy
Weird.. anyone else see that?
@@AdamsReviews everything looks good 1080. Sharp.

COLIN ANGLE IS RESIGNING FROM CEO OF IROBOT…
Way too much talking... almost zero info..
From my own experience, BambuLab's support has never been reliable.
