Yea I never had any interest in modding it really. The only thing I want to try and do is to get some sort of a side window in it. That will be a big challenge!
That will work, i had the same issue with my Computex Antec build last year, I ended up cutting a acrylic side panel with magnets to hold it up, but if it was me on this case i would cut out tempered glass to suit, if it was a personal build, will be eager to see final product once your complete.
I can imagine a prank vid in which some parents gift their parents give a new pc with that case but very low spec like core duo and 1gb ram It will be hilarious🤣🤣
I would make a contemporary for the time system, with Win 7 maybe, with hardware only available then. Modern hardware creates too much heat for 80mm fans to cool sufficiently, not matter how much you have of them.
@@akki99995 wow! which configuration have you bought? i remember that the top config had the gtx 690 in 2012. in 2016 have you bought an upgraded version? are you using this case and config yet? temperatures are good? all this fans help with cooling? Because i have not perfectly understood how side panel opens. if the internal part has no hole, the air taken by the fron fans impact on the internal side panel and then components has no air to take for their cooling. How it exactly works?
@@manuelcaruso3215 I got a Nvidia GTX 780 with an Intel core I7-4820K (can overclock up to 4.5GHz thanks to the fans), 16GB of RAM, also is watercooled and is a 64-bit Operating system, it came with Windows 8 but I changed to 7. My computer after 4 years is running very poorly I have to say, crashing frequently now on, and sometimes can't boot because of CPU overheating... I live currently in French Polynesia where it is very hot in my room, that might explain it. But the config was good at the time. For the gaming mode, when you press the button on the side it activate the 6 fans on the sides and the two on the top, allowing an immense flow of air coming thru but sadly there is only 1 fan on the back making the air flow way more useless. I think the "gaming mode" is just here for the overclocking and the looks of it. You have to be in a pretty cool temperature room to use it properly (I'd say something like max 20°C, my room is almost hitting 30°C so you know). If you got more questions I would be happy to answer them
the most i'd personally mod is the color scheme.. i'd make it blue or white over red.... cuz yaknow (red is just....... eehhh no) and no it wasn't the first of it's kind with the morphing case, Alienware did it first with the x79 desktop but... the era's so damn close i wouldn't be surprised if one did it, than the other ripped them off literally a year later so it's a tie in my book
I'd love to see the case you're talking about, this was released in June 2012 and hadn't heard or seen anything like it back then. Would be interesting to see. 👍
Well you couldnt buy the case by itself. It was a pre built system by Asus about 8 years ago. From memory it retailed at around $5000 here in Australia. I bought this from an ex Asus employee.
I would not mod it, just build a very high end machine in it, and enjoy the case as it was released.

My dream case right there. Wish there was a way to get one in Slovenia.. Cool video sir. :)
Advertising aerodynamics on a PC case is really what the industry is lacking these days.
I know right. Haha. It's the strangest thing to put on the side of pc case. I need to ask Asus the reason it was necessary.
@@kwastek2125 they were probably on drugs
This is like the PC equivalent of lost media, I was wondering why this PC was documented so little.
you are the luckiest guy ever on the planet
Lol thanks mate. Just in the right place at the right time 👍
Did you finished the build ?
If ASUS would updated it and released it again as limited edition it would epic!
I'll see what I can do for that request. I certainly would love to see the same 👍
im in love, looks like lamborghini build a pc

I actually got this case (the whole pc config actually) and it is very stunning ngl
Yea it's amazing. I'm doing a build in it soon, I can't wait!
you got so lucky! i love that case but i haven't found it yet. How much have you payied for it and where did you find it?
@@manuelcaruso3215 I got it back in 2016 when I was in New Caledonia. I payed something like 2.5K$ for the whole PC

It's price?
Ohh boy! I love it!
This case gonna transform to Acer-tron
Can it fly?
If you throw it off something high enough sure. Lol
Would you be willing to sell this tower?
Hey, I'm thinking about selling mine. Mine only has the fans in black instead of red..
@@robin24092 how much?
It would have been great if one side had glass...
Tell me about it. Been looking at it for months working out how to gert a glass side panel in but it's virtually impossible
