If I'm not mistaken, it's over 50 characters from every major arc up to that point.

@@MatsuSenpaii A pretty hefty amount, and as cheesy as the overall Trails canon is, it is absolutely superior to any goofy comic book bullshit. I'm not even sure how people ever got a hard-on for that dumb shit.
I don't think you can unlock all of them in one playthrough. You can get McBurn as a playable character in postgame. Only Marvel/DC/whatever comic book shop nonsense can stand up to that particular force of nature is Superman. Even then, I think my money's on McBurn.
