I like the fact that AI combat aucked in this. Only game where I liked that, because it gives a Star Wars feel. The fact that, in Star Wars 99.9% of soldiers sucked balls.
I see so many people complaining about the clone troopers and stormtroopers (some of them being the same fucking people) but no-one complaining about the difference between the Sith and the Jedi.
Transforming Spy They were originally their own species with their own ways/ broken Jedi that had fallen to the Dark Side, however, they are not a branch of Jedi.
So many hours... so much cathartic fun... finding the perfect strategy for every map and every type of unit was very time consuming, but it paid of _so_ much in the end.
More more more more pretty please! :D This is one of my all time favorite games, and it is awesome seeing you guys play it :D Play some XL battles, and also the assault on Mos Eisley because then it will be all the Heroes verses each other. So basically Sith vs. Jedi!!!! It is sooo much fun!
Best part of the Death Star map was being able to shoot the door controls to cause the floors to drop (and using Medic/engineer classes to repair them)
hey! just a tip, when playing as a hero or villain (EX: darth maul, yoda, obi wan kenobi, etc,) tapping 1 or 2, will change the force ability, you can get force choke, force push, force pull, it varries with characters though, same with regular characters, you can obtain land mines, c4, pistoles, and auto turrets. sorry if you already knew, i just dont see you using it.
The floor on the death star goes if you shoot out the green control panel, engineers can fix it though. Useful if you want to divert the enemy for a short time.
I love Dan because of this: Martyn: why does this stormtrooper have a kilt? Dan: because some stormtroopers like to have fresh testicles. I am literally crying right now. Stay awesome Dan, and Martyn!!!!!!!
My best gaming moment ever was in this game. It was on some swamp planet (cant remember its name) that was a giant map to young me. all but 15 died of the enemy team against just me and i hunted them one by one across the map. Meanwhile, Dice is making a game where "only 15" is the entire team
sorry. 5 more will make all the difference of course. Battlefront to me is about the giant, open maps and huge amounts of enemies. its not that i think the shooting was that great in it. im sure Dice's game will be better in that respect. but personally i dont care about that

I went for a walk once and found this games case in the grass I screamed out of excitement and when I opened it I found that it was empty I went home disappointed
Also, just to make everyone feel good, here is a list of things that will most likely be either missing or terrible in the new battlefront by EA's DICE: Heroes, conquest gamemode (with the campaign map), third person, AI fillers in multiplayer battles, battlefront 1-2 campaign (Missions were more like instant action with objectives), instant action, ability to absolutely crush AI infantry, etc.
I loved this on the PS2 and now i have found my lost love on PC! I bought the StarWars hits collection on disc with Replubic Comandos, Battlefront and Battlefront II.
