Ray Benich covers, I'm Going Home, (to live with God) by O.V. Wright

Written by "deep south" gospel singer O.V. Wright, covered here by Damnation of Adam Blessing's Ray Benich. Released on Back Beat records (Al Green's first label), in the early 70's, this soul stirring song was reflective of the singers troubled life. Having served time for narcotics possession Wright knew all too well the depths of despair that life can bring. It is with joy in his heart that he writes: "Soon I will be done with the trouble of this world, I'm Going Home to live with God".
