Thank YOU for taking the time to "simplify" the instructions so even a 72 year old "Dummy" like me can make this card! I SOooo appreciate your guidance!
This was so much fun to make. I made a little design adjustment and turned them into gift card holders instead of holding the banner. All of my recipients loved them. Thank you so very much!!!
Thank you for sharing your card as well as a easy to follow tutorial! I've made 7 to be sent to sick children and their sibs. I think they are going to like this one. I cut my buttons, nose and mittens with my cricut. My banner and letters were done with the cricut and one of the pens!
I have three grandson and I can't wait to make them all one. I wrote all the instructions. I can't wait to try. Just gotta find the time. Thanks MayMay. You always make us look forward to what you bring next. God Bless!
Hi Maymay I printed my mittens on a pattern paper in my printer. I got 4 mittens for each sheet. The scraps were enough to make the scarves. I had nieces and nephews this last weekend and we made these cards, letting the kids make their own. Unfortunately no photos were taken. But the kids had a blast as did I.
I am addicted to pop-up cards, now.... thank you for the great tutorials! Your versions are so much easier than others I have seen. Please do MORE!!! This snowman card is awesome, too. I can't wait to make it for my grandson.
Oh my my my MayMay you knocked it out of the park! So thinking of doing this for the grandchildren for Valentine's Day! The banner could read love, hugs, kiss, mine! Love him!!
I bought this one last year when I started making cards. I agree with everything you said. My brain wants to score it the opposite way than how you did it. I have been frustrated..... Your demonstration does make more sense. Im going to try it your way. Thanks
Adorable! I love that you can use the same technique and mechanism to get all kinds of different looks! I especially love that you figured all of it out for us! My grandkids will love this card, especially my granddaughter who is a Frozen fan. I would like to try to make it look like Olaf.
Thank so much for the pdf for the mittens. Nothing like getting going and then i have to figure out the right size and shape of the mittens. Great job on your videos thye are easy to follow. your amazing!
Love, love, love this! I can see a small adjustment could change it into a cross with "He is risen!" on the inside. Wrong holiday, I know, but it just popped in my head. Thanks for your great tutorials!
I have made the twist and pop up card. Idid about 5 of them. I am doing the same as you. think how to do it different way. Glad to see you have made a really nice card for kids. Especial for the little wants.
Just a Quick Tip: If you fold the double-side patterned paper in half, trace the mitten ONCE, and cut through both layers at once, you'll have the two-directional mittens. Saves time, tracing, and cutting! Enjoyed your snowman idea!
I think this is the cutest card...snowmen are my favorite....I have made about four of these and I love them...thank you so much for sharing this one...hey...how about a mini snowman...thanks ahead of time...
